Monday, July 27, 2015. This family loves a beach trip. Last year while at St. Augustine, we visited Daytona Beach for a day and our kids fell in love, so that's where we ended up this year. We had a blast! From food trucks to pizza bigger than our table to visiting relatives to Minion popsicles, this has to be one of our best beach trips yet! Toes in the sand. Andrew discovered his love for shrimp. Waiting for our food. Chocolate factory, it's a tradition! They take it seriously! Rick is the moat creator.

Saturday, September 28, 2013. This was our first year to have someone in the Okra Strut Parade. The Okra Strut is a big deal here, with a parade and a lots of vendors (not Okra vendors). The Dance Dept, where Aubrey dances, always has their dancers in the parade. This year Aubrey got to ride in the float. She had such a good time! All ready to go. Waiting with my sweet girl! Friday, April 25, 2014. Davis got the assistant principal he wanted, Mrs. Vogel. She's the one in charge of all the discipline. All the students went after her. Sunday, December 22, 2013. Aubrey's best friend, Lyla Kate, and her mom invited us to come with them to see the Nutcracker today. Aubrey had a couple of friends in the production but the most exciting part was that her dance teacher, Ms. Katie, was the older Clara. Wednesday, January 29, 2014. It took all an early dismissal and hours of waiting, but the snow finally arrived at 7:00 last night. We got almost 3 inches! School was obviously out today and we had a great time playing in the snow and making snow cream! We missed Rick who was in Chattanooga for work (complete with his own snow). Andrew and his snowman.
