http://musingsofarunnergirl.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
A Pretty Good Week! On my treadmill while the sun is shining outside. Sigh. Here is a little recap of my week starting with Monday's 10 mile run. On the treadmill. Yes, it was a beautiful day here in the Pacific Northwest and I admit to running for an hour and thirty six minutes while watching Breaking Dawn inside on a machine. Hey look it's 5:30pm and I am done running! Why in the world would you do that? Proof 10 miles in 96 minutes and 15 seconds! I guess I hadn't used it since the St. Paddy race ...

http://marathonlar.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Race Recap: 2013 Seattle Half Marathon. I didn't pass out on the side of the course or even have to walk (that much! On Sunday, December 1 myself, Meghan, Becky. The weather forecast called for 90% chance of rain and super windy conditions but the temps were in the mid-50s so I decided on shorts with compression socks, long sleeves, Ragnar. Ambassador singlet, and Nuun. The running itself was pretty uneventful. Meghan and I kept a 10:15-10:20 pace for most of the first ha...

It’s been two weeks since all the epicness of Ragnar Northwest Passage commenced, and I need to nail down my recap before it all falls out of my brain. I did this same relay last year with this same* team, and although I knew a bit more about what to expect, I was still apprehensive about how 35 miles of running in 30 hours was going to feel. Our Team: Six Pack with Racks. Having...

8230;because it's the only way to fly. Category Archives: Half Marathon. Platte River Half-Marathon Race Recap. I will fully admit that I have actively avoided writing about this race. Photo by Dan Berteletti. It happened, it didn’t go the way I wanted it to, and I wanted to stuff it in my back drawer and forget about it. Which is pretty petty, in hindsight. Because c’monit’s running! I was feeling exceptionally fit going into Platte River. Well, somewhere along the way, that race plan was entirely forgo...

Wednesday, October 30, 2013. I'm sure you have all been just devastated by my lack of posts lately ;) and I do have a running confession to make.I haven't really been running at all since Hood to Coast. I literally run maybe once a week and it is only because someone asks me to go running with them! Who is the Portland Traveler? Our Pacific Northwest adventures. April 15, 2012. Once again we had a rainy week but a fantastic weekend with great weather:) Dave and I started Friday night with a trip to Eastburn. Those were seats you could sit in…I thought they were hilarious:). Which came as a recommendation to us. The place was awesome and is in our neighborhood. I had the Spring Vegetable Hash. I tried two new recipes tonight for dinner – Shaved Fennel Salad. And Healthy Corn Bread. Newer post →.
