Thursday, May 27, 2010. Another school year is winding down. I remember this time last year when I just couldn't believe Rachael was leaving the only school she has ever known. I couldn't imagine what next year would hold for her. I'm not really sure what I was worrying about . She adjusted just fine. She has grown . She is almost a 7 th. I've learned a lot. About my daughter this past year. I've learned that I sent her to her first day of 6 th. Grade a little girl. She came home from the 1st day of 6 th.

Thursday, January 29, 2009. Today is the 100 th. Day of school. Big day for the 5 th. Graders in Rachael's school. They celebrate the day by dressing up as Granny's and Gramp's. Do you get it? It was so funny seeing all the kids getting out of the car rider line today. They were all so cute. The boys were wearing Bermuda. Shorts with their socks pulled up. Everyone had glasses on and carrying pill boxes with tictacs in it. I saw canes and walkers. I wish I had time to go and see everyone. What did I do?

Monday, August 31, 2009. Summer is officially over, but you couldn't tell by the temperature in Florida. BACK TO. SCHOOL. Happy about it. It was a long summer, it really wasn't, just felt like it to me. Wednesday, February 2, 2011. These 2 kids got married 31 years ago today. They blended their families and headed south for a fresh start to their lives. Two harder working people, you'll never meet. Two more generous people, you'll never meet. When Michael and I were first married, we lived with them for 3.5 years! With our baby girl. Then our other baby girl. 3 and one half years! And they never complained (well, at least not to us). I love these two! And so do their 4 children and 6 grandchildren!
