Worse and better | Central Pennsylvania Orthodox

Wholly American, wholly Orthodox. I’ve been noticeably worse the last couple of days. However, Christopher called at 10:00 from the driveway as he was pulling out to drive down here, so he should be here at the latest by 11. And Marlin and Linda are dropping by on their way out of town, so I should be able to get them to stay until Christopher gets here. They’re here. More later. McTANK: Vigilante 'Net?
http://mctank.blogspot.com/2005/11/vigilante-net.html
Sunday, November 27, 2005. I posted this comment on LGF and I need to post it here in case anybody actually HAS an idea or interest and wants to say something about it. Now, rather than spending another 5 years ranting about it (which we'll do anyway), I think it is the time for conservatives at the grassroots level. By muslims within the USA even as I type. No, I am not suggesting counter terrorism, but there are other things besides publicity and contact-campaigns that can be done). Sigh I have other d...

McTANK: Nice article on the Crusades
http://mctank.blogspot.com/2005/11/nice-article-on-crusades.html
Sunday, November 13, 2005. Nice article on the Crusades. When I was in school, I was taught that the Crusades were basically a shining example of how messed up religion was, because all those Catholics just tromped on over to the middle east and brutally murdered everybody and stole their gold. The primary lesson was that religion was stupid and dangerous, and that Saladin (one of the Crusades' leaders) was a Noble guy. An actual historian puts the Crusades in a nutshell: worth reading. Quote of the Day.

bondc recipes: Eating in Southern Indiana
http://bondcrecipes.blogspot.com/2007/07/eating-in-southern-indiana.html
Sunday, July 8, 2007. Eating in Southern Indiana. It's unlikely that you'll find yourself in southern Indiana. Most of it is accessible only from two-lane state highways, and these days, nobody goes anywhere unless there's an exit off an interstate. That's really too bad, because southern Indiana is beautiful, and there are some great places to eat there. Where you can buy quilts and furniture (yes, of course, it's authentic). There is also a restaurant there, with amazing food (make sure you do not.

bondc recipes: The Sauté
http://bondcrecipes.blogspot.com/2007/07/saut.html
Sunday, July 1, 2007. When I taught cooking classes in Indiana, my class on the sauté was probably the most useful, and one of the most popular. The sauté is the restaurant's mainstay. Sautés are almost infinitely adaptable, creating a wide variety of dishes that can be cooked (and served) quickly. Always turn the heat as high as possible to deglaze. You want to both allow the liquid to pick up all the flavor and flavorful bits from the pan and reduce. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Basic South Caro...
