In India, there are an estimated one million cases of Leprosy. While many of these cases include patients who no longer have active Leprosy, the stigma and complications from the disease continue to consign them to a life of deplorable conditions. Generally, one or more of the following symptoms may characterize the disease. Bull;Loss of sensation in the affected areas. Bull;Nodules or lumps in the skin located on the face and/or ears. Bull;Ulcers located on the soles of the feet. Bull;Loss of digits.

Nothing incredibly tear jerking-doctrine, order of services, rites and rituals- but it tore up my insides and I thought I would have exploded if my professor did not let us out for a break. During our visit to London, Bryan and I decided to take a day-trip outside the city. It was a three stop journey: Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge. We'll start with Bath - our second stop for the day. Apparently this roundabout is a very popular - and expensive - place to live. Nicholas Cage apparently owns a flat. I just found this funny. Saturday, March 31, 2012. When we drove up we split into two groups. One group went to walk around the colony and greet people and the other group started washing feet of the leprosy afflicted.
