Welcome to my Food, Road Food and Good Eats blog. Thursday, April 09, 2015. Velvet Corn Soup With Crab Meat. Back when I was still working in the restaurant business my favourite food to create and cook was soup. Always loved coming up with something new and different for my customers. But my absolute favourite soup recipe comes from the 1977 cookbook "Chinese Cooking, The Easy Wok Method", by Karen Lee Aland. This soup was a family favourite and one I always looked forward to eating. 6 cups chicken broth.

Welcome to my Food, Road Food and Good Eats blog. Sunday, May 02, 2010. This past Friday we took ourselves out to visit a place new to us, Bub's Burgers and Ice Cream in Carmel, Indiana. It's located in the heart of downtown Carmel, right along the Monon Trail. When we arrived the place was already busy and we had a wait of about 25 minutes, (a bit longer than we'd usually put up with). Being as we wanted to try the new place we sat down and enjoyed the view of all the people passing by. The Soda Pop Blog.

Welcome to my Food, Road Food and Good Eats blog. Saturday, April 17, 2010. I love a good hot dog, so it was no surprise that I decided to take the kids out to visit T-Balls Hot Dogs. I tried a few of the kids fries while I was at it and they were also unremarkable. Crunchy, but lacking much in the way of flavour. Typical frozen fries. Update: T-Balls is now out of business. Can't say I'm surprised.). Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Saying Goodbye To The Last Cannery. I sure will miss those Beach Cliff sardin...
