http://adventuresinthehome.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Adventures in the Home. Tuesday, December 8, 2009. On Saturday, Dec 5th 2009 at 2 pm I gave my sister Anna and her husband Keith a baby shower. For their first daughter Clara Jo Meffert. The exciting part of this shower was the big reveal of the gender. Of the baby. Only a few select people (including myself) knew that the baby was going to be a. Girl, so this shower had to be over the top pink and girly! What a fun way to tell the gender of the baby-. Door was so much fun! To pipe on the butterfly body!

Adventures in the Home. Wednesday, January 13, 2010. As I said, this new cookbook is the source for my inspiration, but not the source for all of my recipes. I have pulled out some really great tried and true recipes and some old cookbooks to dust off and look through again. In case you are wondering, the name of this amazing cookbook is "Coming Home with Gooseberry Patch"- trust me, it is seriously a good cookbook! 1 lb chicken (cooked and cut up). 1/4 tsp. salt. 12 oz cream cheese (softened and cut up).

http://adventuresinthehome.blogspot.com/2011/12/reason.html
Adventures in the Home. Sunday, December 11, 2011. It didn’t work…….all of the facts and the prognosis and the tears were for nothing. Why did our little family feel so strongly that someday there would be another child if my husband and I could not bear more? Adventures in the Home: Waiting........
http://adventuresinthehome.blogspot.com/2012/01/waiting.html
Adventures in the Home. Thursday, January 26, 2012. We signed on to this foster care system as a way to have a child that we could not have on our own, and we have been blessed beyond measure by the addition of "tiny" to our home. This past year was difficult as it forced us to truly examine why we felt called to foster care. Would we, could we, do this again? Did we just want a child or did we want to minister to the orphans?
