Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Today is Ash Wednesday which marks the beginning of a 40 day period called Lent that leads up to Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Easter Sunday. Tradition states that believers in Christ should give up something as a sacrifice to God for the duration of the 40 days. This is symbolic for the ultimate sacrifice that was made for all of us on Good Friday thousands of years ago. I truly do love and adore these warm cups of happiness. I guess I'm a bad influence :). Tuesday, June 14, 2011. One of my favorite things about our new home is decorating and doing projects around the house! I love how we always have something to do and there are so many areas that I can pour all of my creative juices into. I love to spruce up an old piece of furniture or decorative accessory and make it brand new! You can do wonders with a little paint :) Here are a few things I have recently been working on. Seat out the other day, just to see if she could sit in it. We knew that her head wasnt. Quite strong enough yet, but we thought we would give it a quick try.SHE LOVES IT!
