Have you ever found yourself asking the question, Why? Sometimes we direct the why question toward others because they make choices that are contrary to the ones we make and we want to see things from another perspective, as in, Why did you do it that way? Or, Why do you live in Illinois? Or, Why am I being treated this way?

Maybe the discussion will convince some little boys that mom getting hit by dad is not normal, and it’s not ok. Maybe for some families, the cycle of violence will come to an end. It’s just not ok.
