In the years following the war, she watched as her mother slowly died a painful death from a condition that now can be easily treated and cured. In her determination to "become an American", she refused to speak anything but English in the home or abroad, (except when she didn't want us kids to know what she was saying) and staunchly followed American cultural...

The Ashby Family Newsletter. Sunday, April 25, 2010. Classic Cars on a Saturday. Keith standing next to a very nice old Packard. A beautiful car. (look at those running boards).

Goddess of Discord: Chaos
http://kallisti-discord.blogspot.com/2010/11/chaos.html
Because randomness and chaos define my life. And because if I really was the goddess of discord I would be able to control that chaos. But I can pretend, and until then, here are my random thoughts. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. My office is a mess and I can't find the cord that goes to my camera so I can upload photos. This is seriously putting a cramp in my blogging plans. It's weirder still that I'm that good of friends with a guy. And frankly it sucks to watch him leave. Thanks for being my best friend.". Links to this post.
