We must constantly, it seems, be launching into high gear to advocate in favor of our California State Parks which seem to be a favorite political football of the Governor. Sunday, June 7, 2009. I've had a great week on the trail. I got to enjoy the redwoods with a friend early in the week, then did a favorite trail at Coe. Sunday, May 25, 2008. Aaaha long weekend stretched out in front of us without a lot of obligations. We headed down to Los Lobos State Park south of Carmel late in the afternoon with the plan to stay through sunset. Point Lobos used to close before sunset which was a true vexation to photographers.
