http://roydenshowtodraw.blogspot.com/2007/11/christian.html
I got some more artwork from you guys, keep them rolling in, I want to see your drawings! Here's three amazing pieces from Christian who's 12 and says he draws every day. Do you ever get a sore thumb Christian? For some reason my thumb always gets sore first when I draw for too long. I can't believe how well people do on the beggar. This is top notch, Christian! Really fine work. The. The area of improvement that caught my eye was the length of the fingers. They seemed. Next, Christian did the ol. Thing ...

Sunday, July 12, 2009. Sugar, ahh,. You are my candy girl,. And you got me wanting you. You may want to open a new tab and listen to this while you read: http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? I had heard that Martha's recipes could be little labour intensive. I was not daunted, 'it can't be that hard' I thought. Hard, not so much but time consuming, yes. The following cupcakes are about the most labour intensive things I have ever made. Worse than pies and creme brulee that's for sure! Posted by Royden Lepp.

http://roydenandruth.blogspot.com/2009_09_06_archive.html
Saturday, September 12, 2009. Some of you familiar with the Seattle area will recognize that I borrowed the name of Tom Douglas' famous pizza restaurant as the title for this post. The following will be all about pie. These are the shoes Royden wishes I'd wear in the kitchen. Okay, okay. I probably don't OWN the shoes he wishes I'd wear.maybe these are the shoes I wish I could wear. With cooking and nursing comes standing. With standing, sore feet and varicose veins. So my friend Sarah. I'll just post a ...

Friday, October 02, 2009. German genes, that's what me and Royden have. Between the two of us we have a lot of them, heck we may even be distant cousins. You laugh, but when our good friend David married our cousin Kristy we found out that grandma Mary was from the same European village as David's grandfather. So.it's a small world. Meet Helga. Fortuntely she was only at our party in spirit. I would say our bent for beer was not something passed down with those genes.but I do recall a particu...So there ...

Royden and Ruth: Life Off the Grid
http://roydenandruth.blogspot.com/2011/10/life-off-grid.html
Saturday, October 01, 2011. Life Off the Grid. Sounds pretty cool doesn't it? It's green. It's trendy. It's also hot. Like, literally hot. No central heat. No A/C. I know it's really not Pacific Northwest of me to say this but while life off the grid may sound sexy.it's not! I love her. She's a bit self centered though, since life basically revolves around her. She's secretly the boss of the Mucombedzi. Farm out here in Central Mozambique, Africa AKA: The Bush! No power lines here! Orchard and the garden.

Wednesday, April 06, 2011. It's Easter Sunday tomorrow. It's hard to believe that spring is almost here. It's been a pretty slow transition here in the Seattle area. We're apparently up for more rain in the next week. But we've had a couple sunny days this month. On one of those days, Ruth and I took a walk around the neighborhood after a light rain and we photographed some of the signs of spring. And when that bud blooms. I'm sorry I ever thought twice about cutting the plant down. Posted by Royden Lepp.

Saturday, October 09, 2010. Hold on a sec. Is my Google reader broken? It says that Lepps blogged but I'm pretty sure that can't be true. But wait, no! It's true. This isn't the post from May anymore! Hold The. Phone. Mostly kidding. I'm still shooting now and then, and Ruth and I had a productive summer that we can share. We were recently in Salmon Arm during some beautiful weather, and I warmed up to my camera's call. ka-click! As though there are a days worth of things to do in that small 6'x12' shack.

Tuesday, July 05, 2011. Does that not look like the most delicious thing you could set your eyes on? That's a true mochiatto, not the caramel mochiatto like you order at a starbucks. Wow, am I a snob or what. This is how we got started. Here's to gorgeous latte art! Oh yeah, there was also several chocolate vendors. I vote yes. This photo makes me want a latte right now, and it's 10:20pm. Thanks for joining us Dad! So we stopped at a rest area at the half point to the 12 mile station, and literally, the ...
