And the fireworks are through. Here we are, me and you. Feeling lost and feeling blue. It's the end of the party. And the morning seems so grey. Now's the time for us to say. May we all have a vision now and then. Of a world where every neighbour is a friend. May we all have our hopes, our will to try. If we don't we might as well lay down and die. How the brave new world arrives. And I see how it thrives. In the ashes of our lives. Oh yes, man is a fool. And he thinks he'll be okay. Keeps on going anyway.

Christmas presents - 5. To the girlfriend of my brother. Neckwarmer from bubble-yarn, cross-knitted. 22 bubble/rows. Appr. 60*15 cm. Double thread, model 50 from Sabrina spezial Mützen und Accessoires. Pattern : 1k-1 moss stitch-1p-1 moss stitch. It hardens the feelings of the yarn so knit it from a very soft yarn for shawls. Double thread, 63 stitches, 3k-3p, 4,5 needle, appr. 30*150 cm. I also think that it is weird that shops follow knitted collections in 2-3 years. Believe me worth it!

Latoya and Tubey mixture. The original post is here. I started knitting its sleeves. I used a circular needle and knitted 3-stitch rib (3k, 3p). I cast on 36 stitches and started knitting 3-stitch rib and made 10 rows. Then I increased one stitch left to the third stitch in every third row 42 times, so I ended up with 13 ribs from 6 ones. Christmas presents - 4. Men's shawls from sock-wool. These became really soft and warm. Men's shawls 1: 92 stitches, needle 2 mm, 2k2p, I changed the rhythm of the stripes in the middle. Appr.: 30*150 cm long (would be if I had blocked it). I also made a small yarn-study. Men's shawls 2: 93 stitches, needle 2,5 mm, 3k3p, in the middle I changed the rhythm of the stripes. Basically I write this blog to myself. About arts and crafts. I have learned embroidery, knitting, crocheting and sewing (and English as well. During my school years. I have been knitting for ages, I stitch beautifully (acording to my Mum and Grandma) (although rarely), sew and crochet. I tried patchwork first 15 years ago - it took 9 years. I started bead-work approximately 10 years ago. My newest activity is decoupage. It almost sounds like Jophie, the short of Josephine in English, actually it is.
