Prior to that morning it had been nearly two years since we had seen each other; yet the indelible memory of her sipping champagne above and before all else was as fresh in my mind as what I ate for lunch. A mix of consternation, embarra...

Life and Lessons from before, during, and after my time in the service industry. Would We Get Along Quiz. Something Crossing My Mind Today. When I first wrote a list of what I wanted in a woman, I was 21, inspired by some movie I cannot recall. It was two pages long. When I next wrote that list, I was 30, inspired by a failed marriage and finding the impossibly shallow first list while unpacking in a new place. The second list was one page long. Life and Lessons from before, during, and after my time in the service industry. Would We Get Along Quiz. My worst date ever. Was also my first date. I was 16 and it was my first day with my first car, a white Fiat Spyder with a tan top. It was the 16th of June many years ago and weather for the evening was supposed to be the kind of late spring balminess that is the reward for bitter winters. They had drained the lake for cleaning. OK, Karma, message received. Name changed to protect the lame. Crikey...
