Monthly Archives: April 2013. April 30, 2013. Tiki Bus at the Shady Dell. For our 14th anniversary we stayed in the Tiki Bus at The Shady Dell. In Bisbee, AZ. Other trailers at The Shady Dell. In Bisbee we walked around, looked in shops and ate at the Roka Cafe. A lot of the buildings in Bisbee are built into the side of the mountain. There are stairs everywhere. May 16, 2012. Make Your Own Laundry Detergent (Liquid and Powder) and Toothpaste. 1 bar of Felz Naptha or Zote (1/4 bar) soap shaved. 2 cups washing soda. 1 cup baking soda. 3 gallons of hot water. Grate soap into sauce pan. Add 4 cups of hot water. Simmer on low until soap disolves. Add borax, washing soda, and baking soda. Mix. Add 3 gallons of hot water to bucket. Add soap mix. Stir and let cool. Use 1 cup per load (1/2 cup for high efficient machines.). 1 bar of Felz Naptha Soap. 1 bar Dove or Ivory.

If you find a jewel or other treasure washed up on the seashore, you can keep it for yourself. September 29, 2012. Luke’s scout leader decided to make our chicken coop a scout project. Hurray! Luke designed it and they spent many hours working on it. Here they are in their Chicken Mansion!
