Home is where the heart is.San Francisco. Thursday, January 30, 2014. Pre Christmas Eve and Christmas Eve. A few days before Christmas Eve we were putting the finishing touches on our tree and taking in the last minute festivities. http://smaries.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Home is where the heart is.San Francisco. Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Singing is pretty big in our house. Having a Daddy that used to sing in Glee Club and a Mommy that used to play an instrument (and who LOVES to sing but is tone deaf), music and signing come pretty naturally in our home. Here are a few video snipits of the kids getting creative with their music genes. They made a gong out of tinker toys and had a self made band. Thursday, October 24, 2013. How long do we have to play? Riding bikes is ...

Home is where the heart is.San Francisco. Thursday, March 27, 2014. The brick boarder was a little tricky because we had to try and break the bricks in just the right spot to make them fit. Like they say, measure twice, cut once! We did it all with success our tree looks amazing! I'm super practical and wanted herbs planted so I could use them cooking.now to just make sure people walking their dogs will keep the dogs out! Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Ms Marcia was explaining to the kids that while they wer...

http://smaries.blogspot.com/2014/09/san-diego-day-3-legoland.html
Home is where the heart is.San Francisco. Thursday, September 18, 2014. San Diego Day 3-Legoland. As soon as we walked in the park the kids were at 100% excitement level. They were grabbing the map, running around the all the Lego figures, asking me to take their pictures, one going one way and one wanting to go the other way. My saving grace for the day was the Hirzel family! No really, packed! We did find a few rides with shorter lines or that the line moved fast. And just like that, before we knew it,...

Home is where the heart is.San Francisco. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Summer Vacation #2-San Diego Road Trip- LA and La Brea Tar Pits. Timo and Cameron's school has a two week break between the summer session and fall session so it's like we get two summer vacations. We began our "second summer vacation" the day after Six Flags by loading up and road-tripping down to San Diego! Driving a long drive like that helped me remember how much I love road trips and seeing all that God has created for us. Before...

The Kos: San Diego Day 3--Legoland Water Park
http://smaries.blogspot.com/2014/09/san-diego-day-3-legoland-water-park.html
Home is where the heart is.San Francisco. Friday, September 19, 2014. San Diego Day 3- Legoland Water Park. As if one day of Legoland wasn't bad enough.we headed back for day 2, the water park! Legoland knows how to suck you in by giving a huge discount on a 2day pass, you just can't pass up the deal) But, being southern California in August, it was hot and the water park was so much fun! We took a lunch break and went to the Lego boat building area where I'm sure Timo could have spent the rest of the day.
