I still have so many recipes to share from my family vacation! I really wanted to prepare some of my favorite dishes to share with them and because I made so much the family decided to crown me and Dan the winners of. I think that Dan and I will need to follow in my sister. 8217;s footsteps soon. What a low stress way to satisfy so many people! I’ve been experimenting with pizza dough a lot recently, and one of my experiments was using buckwheat flour in the whole wheat pizza dough. 1/2 Tbsp olive oil.

We got armloads of zucchini from our CSA this summer, and since neither Dan nor I are big fans of it, I had to find lots of ways to disguise it. I started with the obvious zucchini breads. And muffins, but after a while, I had exhausted all of those recipes and was looking for a savory zucchini dish. We happened to be having some friends over for dinner, so I decided that it was a perfect occasion to try out something new. Adapted from The Food You Crave. 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs. Dried sage or rosemary.

Kale and Chard Chips. Today’s CSA challenge: Kale and Chard. After that failed experiment, I avoided kale chips until this past May when I visited my sister. Who had a recipe we wanted to try out. In order to avoid my previous mistake, we cooked them for 30 minutes. This made them crispy, but unfortunately, they were too dried out. Another less than successful attempt. What seasoning (other than salt and pepper) have you added to kale chips? Kale and Chard Chips. Kale and chard leaves. Preheat oven to 325.

Whole Wheat Pizza Dough. Whole Wheat Pizza Dough. 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast. 1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour, divided, plus more for dusting. 3/4 cup warm water, divided. 1/2 Tbsp olive oil. 1 Stir together 2 1/4 t yeast, 1 T flour, and 1/4 cup warm water in a large bowl and set aside for 5 minutes. Knead the dough on a floured surface, lightly adding flour when the dough becomes too sticky. This takes 5-10 minutes. 5 After the dough is done rising, remove the dough from the bowl but do not punch down.

However, that still left me with about 2 pounds remaining, and while I enjoy butter and sugar, I figured I should try something else. On epicurious. I made a few changes, most notably eliminating the scallions, and I’ve posted my version below. Total Time: 45 min. Active Time: 45 min. 2 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled and grated. 4 eggs, beaten. 1 Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and form into pancakes. 3 Eat pancakes and enjoy. You may want to top them with a dollop of yogurt. Chuck Roast My Way!
