Our journey to adopt our daughter from China. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Here are a few photos from Alana and Dylan's birthday weekend. It was a busy one to say the least. We went to Alana's school carnival on Friday night, Alana and Collin's first soccer games on Saturday, and Alana and Dylan's birthday party on Sunday. The kids had a great time though and I'm still recovering! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). When the Lights Went Out at Boulder Springs {New Braunfels Wedding Photography}.

Journey to Alana: Soccer Stars
http://journeytoalana.blogspot.com/2009/06/soccer-stars.html
Our journey to adopt our daughter from China. Friday, June 5, 2009. Here are Collin and Alana's soccer pictures from this spring. They both really enjoyed their season and are ready for more this fall. I know I'm crazy, but I'm actually considering signing Dylan up for this fall as well. They let kids start as young as four. He just desperately wants to be like his big brother and sister. Plus, how cute will he be in a little soccer uniform! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

The McDonald Family: October 2009
http://houstonmcdonaldfamily.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 21, 2009. The weather has been so awesome lately. We enjoyed it a lot last weekend. On Friday Kiera and I went to the park with our neighbor, Christi, and her son, Christian aka Nemo. We went to the duck pond, but the ducks weren't too interested in eating our bread. We did see a couple of cool crabs though. On Saturday, our family went to the park for a picnic. Chris and Killian flew a Star Wars kite that Killian got for Christmas. Kiera turned 8 months old on October 5th! You may not...

The McDonald Family: November 2009
http://houstonmcdonaldfamily.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 29, 2009. We had a great Thanksgiving. We spent the day at Nonna and Pops’ house. It was the first time that all six of the grand kids on Chris’ side of the family got together (there were three new babies this year). It was a little difficult to get a picture with all of them together. Here is the best one! Front row - Cooper and Killian, back row - Ryker, Pops, Kiera, Nonna, Chase and Jordan). Chris did a great job this year on our outside Christmas lights this year. Learned to clap :).

The McDonald Family: June 2009
http://houstonmcdonaldfamily.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 11, 2009. Killian has been asking to go to the neighborhood pool every day. Chris and Killian rode their bikes there earlier this week. Yesterday we all loaded up in the car and Kiera. Had her first swim. She's wearing her ladybug rash guard that helps protect her from the sun. This is Kiera. In the baby pool. Killian, Chris and Kiera. She pretty much just stared at the water whenever she was in the pools. A better look at the ladybug while she's lounging in the shade! Is now 4 months old!

Sunday, May 24, 2009. I'm not quite sure where May went! Kiera turned 3 months old on Cinco de Mayo. Here is a picture of her in an outfit crocheted by Barb's mother, Kiera's Great Grandma Lewis. Here is Kiera in the bathtub in the kitchen sink. Mother's Day was extra special for me this year of course. Chris made me breakfast and gave me a sweet card, book and CD. We invited Chris' family over for lunch. Here is Chris with his mom and our nephew Jordan. Here is a family picture on Mother's Day. I've rel...

Journey to Alana: Trip to Texas
http://journeytoalana.blogspot.com/2008/11/trip-to-texas.html
Our journey to adopt our daughter from China. Wednesday, November 26, 2008. We went to Texas a while back and I haven't posted pictures yet. It was good to see Victor's nieces as well as a friend of mine and her family. The weather was exceptional - highs in the mid-70's. We came back to KC to highs in the 30's and 40's and blustery winds. I'm ready to go back to TX! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
