McCullough Moments

Tuesday, February 10, 2015. We've been doing lots of mowing with dad this summer! In other news, we spent one week going hard core with potty training. Garrett did such a great job transitioning. No special tricks, just consistency for the win. I took Garrett to the library and he now has his very own library card. We spent some time going to mommy and me time at the library. The librarian read a book, we sang some songs, and ended with some sensory play with some friends. Friday, January 9, 2015. He bas...

McCullough Moments: Wedding Prep

http://ryandawnmccullough.blogspot.com/2015/02/wedding-prep.html

Tuesday, February 10, 2015. We got to hang out with some friends before heading out to "help" clean up the land for Uncle Chad and Summer's wedding. These guys had so much fun jamming out together. Garrett had to have his tractor out to help! We took off and did some riding on the 4-wheeler. I love riding with this little man. He'd let you drive him around all day long! He loves excavators and sees them on our daily commute with all of the surrounding construction. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

McCullough Moments: 4th of July

http://ryandawnmccullough.blogspot.com/2015/01/4th-of-july.html

Friday, January 9, 2015. We spent the 4th of July at the lake lot with Grandma and Grandpa this year. He basically stayed like this throughout the entire fireworks display. He liked looking at all of the fireworks, but he didn't like how loud they were. We were right on the water, so it was extremely loud! They were setting them off directly across from us. We were just cracking up because he wanted Todd to keep his hand over his ears. He loves his Princess Summer! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

better than i could have imagined: May 2014

http://www.betterthanicouldhaveimagined.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Thursday, May 29, 2014. Before school was out….I was already making plans in my head of what I wanted us to work on with Parker throughout the summer. Namely:. I only chose 10 books per page because I didn't want her to feel so overwhelmed and like she would never be able to reach her goal. Not sure exactly how many I should expect. This is her first summer reading so we are just going with the flow. (hence, the reason I only wanted to do 10 at a time). Anyways…reading after breakfast…. At the library&#8...

better than i could have imagined: December 2014

http://www.betterthanicouldhaveimagined.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Happy New Year's Eve! Well…Happy New Year's Eve! As another year closes….a year that has flown by in so many ways….yet still…so much has happened in a year. Some hard things. Some very good things. Growth. Love. And many many blessings. Labels: Geoff and Marla. Thursday, December 25, 2014. Ok…lots of pictures. But this is my only scrapbook. :). Worn out. That I had a bad attitude. Ok enough of that. I just had to record it because…well….this Christmas was...He fell sleep on ...

http://www.betterthanicouldhaveimagined.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Letter of the Week: Cc is for Caterpillar (and Candy! We ended up doing Letter Cc before Letter Bb….because I order caterpillars, and since first comes the caterpillars then comes the butterfly….we did C first. :). Letter of the Week Printables from Confessions of a Homeschooler. So fun watching her growth in so many areas. Just really neat to see how in the beginning she did not know a thing about patterns. And now she loves them and is pretty good at them, too. We've done th...

Saturday, February 28, 2015. We've had snow a few times this week. Monday we got freezing rain and ice….enough for school to be cancelled. But the first day we got snow was Wednesday. I was at work and Parker was at school….but the big beautiful flakes fell and Geoff took Grace and Nolan out to enjoy for a bit. These next 4 pictures are pretty funny. Grace made a good-sized snowball…. 8230;and threw it at Nolan…. 8230;and he did NOT like it! Friday. More snow. And accumulation! Isn't that how it goes?

better than i could have imagined: baby #4 :: pregnancy & loss

http://www.betterthanicouldhaveimagined.com/2015/05/baby-4-pregnancy-loss.html

Thursday, May 7, 2015. Baby #4 : pregnancy and loss. On February 19th, I got my first positive pregnancy test. I say, 'my first'…because I took several. And just like the 4 times before that I saw that second pink line…a wave rushes over me and I immediately think, " Oh my goodness. How did this happen? Well- yes I do know how it happens. And yes- we were trying to have baby #4. We were overjoyed…and again…thankful for yet another blessing. The following week. we got quite a bit of snow. He tried to find...

Monday, January 26, 2015. Letter of the Week: Hh. Again….I didn't take many pictures this week…so here goes what I do have……. The next few printables are from Confessions of a Homeschooler Letter of the Week. Grace has come SO far in her handwriting. I haven't stuck with Confessions of a Homeschooler's Calendar Notebook. Like I had originally planned…but I have had her write her name each month. Look how far she's come! And I'm so proud of her. Letter of the Week. Letter of the Week: Gg is for Gumball!

Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Super Nolan's 1st Birthday Party. We had Nolan's 1st birthday party back in May…and for some reason. it just takes me forever to go through the pictures and post them. It's not that it takes me a huge amount of time…I just procrastinate. A lot. So…. The table of treats. Nolan's cake made by a girl we know and she did a fantastic job! And they reeeeally helped me out. I purchased this large digital "N" from AndersRuff. Aunt B and Nolan. Me and the boy. And I guess the new thing I...

Sunday, May 24, 2015. This past month has been a whirlwind, to say the very least. i left off last with the miscarriage. 8230;and i am going to just briefly (ha.we will see if i can swing 'briefly. better than i could have imagined: RAINBOW in a Jar

http://www.betterthanicouldhaveimagined.com/2015/03/rainbow-in-jar.html

Wednesday, March 11, 2015. RAINBOW in a Jar. We will be doing Letter Rr next week with Grace…which just sorta worked out with R. And St. Patrick's day falling during the week. But since we are on spring break this. Week…I thought we'd go ahead and knock out a couple of fun rainbow-themed activities to help fill up our days. (don't get me wrong…we have watched more episodes of Little House on the Prairie. Than I'd like to admit…so we are definitely having our lazy days! For what we did. I did read in some...

better than i could have imagined: March 2014

http://www.betterthanicouldhaveimagined.com/2014_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 23, 2014. This past Friday…we loaded up the minivan with our kids and niece, Payotn, and headed to the zoo. Bubs fell asleep on the way…but his nap was cut short when we got there. The girls were really excited to ride the carousel…and we decided to let them ride it first thing because usually by the time we are heading out….we really. Need to leave (i.e. babies and/or kids are about to have a meltdown). This was Nolan's first time and he seemed to enjoy it. Then we headed to the ponies for...

Monday, January 12, 2015. Why should we study the Bible? Part 1 of 5. As I sit here and prep to do my Bible studies, I thought it would only be fitting to study why we study this book in the first place. I mean, really, aren't there other books we could be studying? Why study a book that was written so many years ago? Does it actually help us? In this series, I hope to touch on why we study this great book. So, Why do we study the bible? Today, let's touch on the teaching part of this study. Or are we di...
