James & Sacha: May 2015
http://sachaandjames.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
And our three little munchkins: Joseph, Kenneth, and Katie. Thursday, May 28, 2015. The past two weeks have been crazy, and it's not about to get better. Hopefully I can remember everything. It's been stressful to be hurrying so much with everything. 3 End of school. James finished up on Friday and checked out of his classroom. He had to pack up 30 years' worth of stuff from other teachers. His new classroom at the high school is 50% bigger and brand new, as well as empty! 6 Classes. James is still w...

James & Sacha: February 2015
http://sachaandjames.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
And our three little munchkins: Joseph, Kenneth, and Katie. Wednesday, February 18, 2015. It's been a good two weeks. I think that's how long it's been since I wrote last. The kids are all well except for Katie's lower molars coming in. She has her days where she's grumpy and miserable, but then she's fine. They should be in within a week, I hope. She has a constantly runny nose because of it. Thursday, February 5, 2015. I've been thinking a lot about Ether 12:27. This week. I used to think that my c...

James & Sacha: Progress
http://sachaandjames.blogspot.com/2015/05/progress.html
And our three little munchkins: Joseph, Kenneth, and Katie. Thursday, May 14, 2015. James called me around 5:30 and said he wanted to eat out, then go to his classroom and clean up (and pack up) since he needs to have it ready for a math teacher. I didn't want to do this. By this time, Katie had started crying for no apparent reason even though she had food and drink. She just wouldn't stop! May 14, 2015 at 12:26 PM. May 28, 2015 at 11:40 AM. Glad to hear youre making progress. Yesterday driving back...

James & Sacha: November 2014
http://sachaandjames.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
And our three little munchkins: Joseph, Kenneth, and Katie. Thursday, November 13, 2014. I really struggle with winter. Even thinking about it on the hottest summer day makes me cringe a little bit inside. I don't think I suffer from the "real" S.A.D., at least not in a crippling way. I have my share of mornings where it's hard to get out of bed because I feel like the darkness is closing in - literally. Who ever wants to get out of a warm, comfortable bed anyway? How will I make it through winter? By lo...

James & Sacha: September 2014
http://sachaandjames.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
And our three little munchkins: Joseph, Kenneth, and Katie. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. I bought a giant box of apples from Bountiful Baskets because they were a steal! There is no orchard anywhere near here, so 62 cents a pound is the best deal I've got. When I received the box, I felt that I'd been a little too ambitious. However, those apples are all but gone now. I got a lot of yummy stuff from them. 9 pints of apple butter. 15 trays of dried slices. 10 c chopped and frozen for later use. A recent e...

No $, No Space, No Problem!: April 2013

No $, No Space, No Problem! Monday, April 22, 2013. Freezing Block Cheese: Does It Really Work? I've had mixed success with this method. I've done it the same each time:. 1 Put frozen block of cheese on a plate or towel to catch drips. 2 Leave it there for at least half a day, until the cheese is completely thawed and almost warm to touch. (These are 2 lb. blocks.) Don't worry, it won't spoil from being out this long. It's cheese. Think about how it was made. Labels: 3 Month Supply.

No $, No Space, No Problem!: Wheat Sprout Recipes
http://realfoodstorageforrealbudgets.blogspot.com/2013/09/wheat-sprout-recipes.html
No $, No Space, No Problem! Monday, September 30, 2013. Whoa, recipes with sprouts? I know it's a little strange, but to live on food storage without fresh veggies means that sprouts become pretty important. I tried out these two recipes with great success. I will admit that they're a little weird and not what I eat every day, but they were both good and exceeded my expectations. I found these recipes in some food storage cookbooks. Grind in your food processor or blender:. 2 c wheat sprouts. Sprout the ...

And our three little munchkins: Joseph, Kenneth, and Katie. Thursday, June 11, 2015. Well, we're back! We had a great time in Idaho this year. 1 Joseph's birthday. I can't believe he's 5! They bought me lunch (Chick-fil-a) on Wednesday. 7 Food. I are a lot of it, and it was yummy. I'm still not very ...9 Com...
