I wasn't born in Traphill, but I got here as fast as I could! The girls June pics. The girls are getting teeth! Ellie already has two teeth thru the gums and Sarah isn't far behind. I suspect that she will have teeth thru this weekend. Everyone continues to do well. We are counting down the weeks until we get to go on vacation. 9 weeks from today! It's been a long time coming. I wasn't born in Traphill, but I got here as fast as I could! Thanks to help from my dad we have a new vehicle. One that is big enough for us and our growing family. It is a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban! We've had it for about 2 weeks now and it appears that it is going to be a good truck. There are still a few small things to be done to it (I still need to figure out how to operate the DVD player correctly) and I need to strive to keep it clean. Hopefully it will last us for many years to come!

I wasn't born in Traphill, but I got here as fast as I could! The twins had their two month checkup this past week. All goes well and they're growing like little weeds! Sarah is now 23 3/4 inches long (21 at birth) and Ellie is 23 inches long (20.5 at birth). Both girls are over 12 lbs. now with Ellie weighing 12 lbs 5 oz. and Sarah is 12 lbs 1 oz. They are beginning to sleep longer during the night. One night we were even able to sleep for almost 7 hours straight! They are very precious.

I wasn't born in Traphill, but I got here as fast as I could! December 7, 2009. To steal a quote from a former president (FDR), December 7, 2009, "a date which will live in infamy" we welcomed into this world our two beautiful daughters. Ellie Katherine weighed 7lbs 4oz. and was 19.5 inches long and Sarah Elizabeth weighed 7lbs 8oz. and was 20 inches long! All three of my girls are doing well. Ellie (left) and Sarah. There was an Easter breakfast at their church this morning with games and fun stuff for the kids to do. I'm gonna attempt to load the girls up tomorrow and take them to church for the first time. I wasn't born in Traphill, but I got here as fast as I could! Sam's 1st tent camping trip. We got there Friday evening and I got the tent setup while Sam was riding his "motorcycle". He woke me up about 7:30 as happy as he could be! His first trip went well, if not a little short, and hopefully there will be many more trips to come.maybe next time with mom and the girls! I wasn't born in Traphill, but I got here as fast as I could! Trying to catch the sunset. We wanted to try to get some decent sunset pictures. These were all taken near the end of the island at the Bogue Inlet. Of course Crystal is more of a photographer than I am and the shots that follow are ones that I took, mainly of Sam, while Crystal was getting shots with her camera. I am amazingly happy to report that as of today after a year of scrimping and saving and living "like no one else", Crystal and I are DEBT FREE! Last July we began to live differently and began budgeting our money thanks to Dave Ramsey. S Financial Peace University. Course and it has taken us 1 year to become debt free (except for the house)! I wasn't born in Traphill, but I got here as fast as I could! Geez, what a slacker! So it's almost been 11 months since I've posted anything on here. I could come up with and type any number of reasons for not posting anything, but at this point, does it really matter now? Here's what I'll do for now. How's about some various pictures from the past year and I'll try to do much better this year as far as updating this blog? Sam, and I at the dam at Kerr Scott. Of course my beautiful wife!
