The (quite) long road to recovery. I have been asked by a few people as to why I had this surgery done and if it is worth it. I vaguely mentioned my reasons in my first post so I thought that I should go into more detail to fully explain myself. Another key reason was my inability to bite properly. It is difficult for me to describe how it is compared to a normal bite because I have never had a normal bite! So far in my journey however, I am delighted to have had the surgery done. Wake up in excruciating pain. My soreness was gone when I woke up in the morning! However, as I write this, I have become sore from the day’s activity – which makes me think that maybe soreness is just inevitable. Swelling is going down, finally.
