Sandbar is situated on the New South Wales mid-north coast which is renowned for its picturesque and magnificent scenery, with endless white sandy beaches and clear pristine waters. Turning east off the Pacific Highway just north of Bulahdelah, you will travel along the scenic route of The Lakes Way for approx 30kms before reaching the turn-off to Sandbar. After saying good bye to our friends at Walu we moved on and spent most of April at The Pines Caravan Park. In Belmont. This is the closest we have to a home base. After numerous trips to the camping superstore where we spent way too much money buying 'essentials', and then another trip to the bike shop to spend more money on a bike rack, we squashed our gear and ourselves into our too small car and set off up the coast. Thursday, 24 January 2013. Lily's first day of kindy - Take 4. She absolutely loved her first day. When we got there to pick her up she was running around in a skirt with all her friends pretending to be hula girls - and completely ignored us. The ignoring was expected, she hates leaving - but the dress was a surprise. Lily does not wear skirts or dresses EVER - not even for dress up, so this was unusual - just wish I'd taken a picture.
