Friday, January 11, 2013. Our first Christmas in our new home was really nice. I so enjoy celebrating this time of year with the girls. Everything to do with Christmas is so beautiful and special and their excitement is contagious. To see their joy reminded me so often of what Christmas is really about. Friday, March 28, 2014. I realize it has been awhile… again. I probably start all my posts this way lately. Oh well. There are some fun photos in this post. The girls are growing up so fast! I recently went through all their clothes and now have yet another Ikea bag full to sort into the "too small" box. They are fun and funny little ladies. Here's what we've been up to. Funny faces through Jamie's glass. This was so hilarious! Lina lost her first tooth! Here she is proudly showing it off.

Monday, August 27, 2012. Last Wednesday we celebrated Jan's 30th birthday. After Jan got home from work we grilled and enjoyed Tiramisu together. The girls were so excited for the party to begin (and they had to wait almost the whole day), so we had to drag out the party prep process. It was a fun day! Saturday, December 28, 2013. Christmastime is full of fun things for young and old. I so much enjoy introducing the girls to the festivities that surround this time of year. They are so excited about every detail! Cleaning our shoes for Niklaus was also a fun thing to do. I prepared the cleaning zone with one pair of shoes for each girl but they just kept finding more shoes to clean! Christmas Day was full of fun too! Merry (late) Christmas and a Happy 2014! Thursday, March 7, 2013. A taste of Easter and then back to Christmas. It has been a full couple of weeks! The highlight of the airplane ride was the apple juice cart. :). Lina and Jamie were great at entertaining Caleb. I think he could have done with a little less entertainment actually, but he was a good sport. It was fun to see how the girls made him smile. Saturday, November 3, 2012. We are loving the fall season in our new house. We've had fun raking leaves and trimming bushes. Lina and Jamie especially love playing in the leaf piles and filling buckets with whatever they find in the yard (making supper for the birds). :) It is good to be here. Jamie's personality is developing so much and it is fun to see. This is a typical face from her and I was finally able to catch it on camera! I don't think I have ever been apple picking in shorts and a tank top!

Monday, September 24, 2012. There's been a lot going on these days. Jan has been working hard on our house every day after work. It is just about ready for us to move in. Our projected move day is now October 6th. We are so ready! The other day my mom was watching the girls and made a tent with them outside. Lina and Jamie had a great time playing in there with all their toys. I really like the colors in the picture above. This is farmer Jamie picking the leftover tomato crop. :). Links to this post.
