Tuesday, 30 September 2014. Last week I bought a Pear Gorgonzola Mixed Green Salad for home and a Fiesta (Mexican) Salad Kit with a bag of shredded iceberg to top it off with, for my lunches. (Note: I don’t normally just buy shredded iceberg, I try to buy something with a bit more nutrition but this was all they had this week). Bagged salads have also shaved even more time off. My lunch prep for the week! In 10 minutes. Why does it even take 10 minutes? What are your time saving tips? Salad in a jar.

Thursday, 30 April 2015. My First Mama-to-Be Panic Attack. Now that I have officially announced that our lives are about to be blown apart (and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our babe), I can now share my first official panic attack as a mom-to-be. Wednesday, 22 July 2015. The babe keeps getting bigger but I don't feel like my bump is really growing at all. I guess as long she is happy and healthy (and the doctors tell me she is) then I should be happy to stay a 'manageable' size. I see a lot of purple in our future with our sweet baby girl. And yes I do know that purple is MY favourite colour and no it doesn’t have to be Baby P’s favourite colour but until she can tell us what is, it’s I am going live in baby girl purple Heaven. So far so good.

Thursday, 26 February 2015. I think I now like Pepsi more than Coke. And I feel like a complete traitor. I hate compromising. I am stubborn and. Selfish and I want to do/eat/watch/etc. what I want. But I try because I like my hubby more than I hate compromise. Sometimes I use the full service side of the gas station. I know it's more expensive and I am totally capable of doing it myself but sometimes I just don't feel like getting out of my car. Especially if it's raining. Can I please stay here forever?

I didn't get to do the natural birth I wanted. I did nurse for a year, but it wasn't without its challenges. And that just leaves diapers. Thyroid cancer is one of the few cancers which is actually growing in prevalence. And it is usually easily treated when found early. Your doctor can perform a simple neck check quickly at a routine check-up. At 26, I found out I had follicular thyroid cancer. I have mentioned it a lot on this blog. Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Livers are Important: A Final Update. On Monday, November 18, Phil's dad passed away. I hate to say he lost his battle with non-alcoholic Liver Cancer, because that sounds strange to me. When the doctors only gave him 6, maybe 12 months to live, he lived over 3 years.
