Friday, July 26, 2013. July 25th.It's a great day! Our Nephew Lukas was born 10 years ago today. Today Phil's sister Carrie and her husband Jason celebrate their Anniversary! But for me, tonight, I'm thinking of my Grandma. She passed away 1 year ago today. It was a cloudy, rainy day. We had enjoyed 4 beautiful days on Torch Lake. It was a Wednesday, time to pack up and head home. But.God and Grandma had a different idea! We laughed together.for the last time. Sweet, simple and honest Ams! July 27, 2013.

Thursday, July 18, 2013. A few weekends ago Phil and I took the girls to their very first Flea Market! We love the Allegan Antique Show. It only opens once a month.well worth the wait! Phil purposely drove the Prius, thinking it would prevent me from finding/purchasing any "large" items! He should have known better! I found the perfect pink night stand for Emma's room. He also made me buy an orange Fiesta-ware pitcher.he wouldn't take no for an answer! I didn't buy it, but I REALLY wanted to!

Monday, February 20, 2012. Last weekend was our schools homecoming. The kids participated in spirit week, and even decorated fun hats to wear to the varsity basketball game. We had fun supporting our school and watching our girls hang out with their friends! Emma and her."friends that are boys! Emma and her friend Ashley. The boys (and Ellie the dog) building Legos. Gabe jumping on the trampoline with friend Zane. Maddox built weights so he could make the "bumps" on his arms bigger. I think he meant his muscles. :-). Gabe built an automobile. Maddox with the restaurant owner and some of the waitresses at our favorite eating place. He loves the ladies!

This past Christmas, Michael and I took a trip, just the two of us, to a tiny island in the Philippines called Boracay. And we absolutely loved it! And when we found air fare for $50 a person to go in April we decided to take our first family of four vacation. It was wonderful. The boys loved the beach and the pool! They are ready to go back.and so am I! Relaxing after a fun day of playing.

Thursday, April 28, 2011. Madison was sick a few weeks ago. Actually it was the night before her Kindergarten Graduation Program (YIKES! Luckily she had me and (more importantly) Max the cat to nurse her back to health! There is some serious mutual love here! She did make it to her Graduation.after a much needed bath!
