Prepare the way of the Lord. Make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. Isaiah 40: 3-5. Friday, August 24, 2007. Captain Martha Sheppard said. Hmmm, it sounds good - to pay it forward - what is it exactly that we are paying forward - sharing with somebody about Jesus? We led a class ...

http://salarmyofficership.blogspot.com/2006/10/change-script-and-crush-box.html
A day in the life.TSA Officership. Life in The Salvation Army.the ups, the downs.the funny and the serious. I have a ton of stories and I'm sure you do as well. Change the script and crush the box. I wanted to comment directly on his blog, but he doesn't allow it.he knows he'd get bombarded (both good and bad). So if you know him, ask him to read my blog! I love the concept of being outside the box and changing the script, but many times it seems like we are powerless to do so. What are your thoughts?

What does it mean to follow in the footsteps of Jesus? January 23, 2010. What do I see? One of my favourite Christmas carols is that one, ‘Do you see what I see’. I love the version Third Day does of it, it’s one of those songs that just hits the spot! And, as is evident by the fact that I am writing about it now, it doesn’t stay at Christmas time, it comes into my head all times of the year! As I look around and see people, what do I see? Do I see the pain and struggle that people face? But, if that is.

What does it mean to follow in the footsteps of Jesus? February 15, 2010. Dreaming of a world where every single person is treated with dignity and respect. I look around me in this place and see much brokenness and pain; many people who are down-trodden and disempowered. It can be overwhelming so that it seems impossible to change. We had our Regional Officers, Majors John and Wendy Freind visit in Alice this last weekend. It was really great to have them here! It makes sense, doesn’t it, that it ...
