Bill and Linda's Blog: York, a Roman Fort, and Hadrian's Wall
http://blbergstrom.blogspot.com/2010/08/york-roman-fort-and-hadrians-wall.html
Bill and Linda's Blog. Saturday, August 28, 2010. York, a Roman Fort, and Hadrian's Wall. Another fun and historic city we visited was York, founded in 71 AD by the Romans and capital of their Province Britinnia. This is a picture of the York Minster, a beautiful Gothic cathedral, a very impressive place of worship. It was rather expensive to tour so Sarah got a quick picture of the interior to add to ours of the exterior. And kept people laughing. Of course he expected some generous. Destroyed during th...

http://blbergstrom.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Bill and Linda's Blog. Monday, February 26, 2007. Our Move To Logansport. This is our first attempt at posting to a blog so we'll see what happens! For our first post I thought I'd update everyone on our move by using my article for our church's newsletter. It's an update on our move and beginning our ministry at Webb Chapel. So, with a few modifications here it is:. It’s hard to believe that we've already been a part of Webb Chapel for seven weeks! After doing all he could to pull the wood away from the...

A Pint of Bitter: July 2006
http://jeremy-jackie.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
A Pint of Bitter. Like my delusional life, it tastes much better than it sounds. Sunday, July 30, 2006. Reunited and it feels so good.". Just a brief post to let everyone know we've arrived safely, back in the good ole' US of A, and that things are going swimmingly. We've already gotten new cell phones, retrieved our car, and already began the whirlwind that will be August. Thanks again to all of our friends from Japan, both Japanese and gaikokujin. We'll miss you! And it makes us seem so shallow! They'r...

A Pint of Bitter. Like my delusional life, it tastes much better than it sounds. Tuesday, February 07, 2006. Samurai Jeremy and a Fish Song. Yep, here I am, in all my Japanese glory. Could anybody look less Japanese than I do? And here's Jackie, eating lunch during a special visit to one of Jeremy's schools. She's not a big fan of fish, so when she refused to eat it (I could barely choke it down, myself) the kids started singing a fish song, trying to guilt her into eating it (Sakana! A Pint of Bitter: June 2006
http://jeremy-jackie.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
A Pint of Bitter. Like my delusional life, it tastes much better than it sounds. Friday, June 30, 2006. I tried to post this picture as part of my last post, but blogger wouldn't let me put another picture in it. This is one way to mark the passing of time in Japan, by watching the rice grow. If you'll notice, it's the same rice field that I put in the May 30 post. A whole month has passed since then. My, how time flies! Posted by Jeremy, Jackie and Nathanael @ 11:32 PM. What was going on? Finally, here'...

A Pint of Bitter: May 2006
http://jeremy-jackie.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
A Pint of Bitter. Like my delusional life, it tastes much better than it sounds. Tuesday, May 30, 2006. Doesn't really need much commentary, does it? Jackie has been diligently updating our little chalkboard here, ever since it said "72" or something like that. Like I've been saying, we don't hate Japan.hardly. But it does indeed seem like the vacation that never ends! We're ready for what's next, and are "champing at the bit" in anticipation of our upcoming move to NYC. Tuesday, May 09, 2006. National h...
