At September 22nd, 2010 (11:09 am). HI I'm brand new to hermit crab owning. (on day 2 here) and have a somewhat pressing concern. I'll post that first, then the intro-y stuff, if you don't mind. Now he's just hiding in a corner, still naked. We saw spare shells st the pet store, but they didn't seem very big. this guy's on the larger side already so I need a shell, like, pronto, that he can fit in. any ideas? On the flip side, will he be okay shell-less for a few days? That all said, here's my intro:.

As you can see, things are quite new around here, so feel free to jump right in with posting. meanwhile. 1) any ideas to fill out the interests list? It seems kinda sparse, and, you know, the more things listed, the more likely people will find us. I am terrible at making them (ok, I just plain don't know how) so if anyone wants to submit any, on-topic, of course, I'll consider using one of them. Post a new comment. A Milestone, of Sorts - Academy of Lagado
http://mahogany.livejournal.com/232380.html
A Milestone, of Sorts. Aug 16th, 2011 at 2:47 PM. Today, I found my first grey hair. It was white, actually, and wiry. Well, I guess my husband will soon discover that I wasn't joking when I told him years ago, that I refused to be a slave to a bottle of colour, and that when it was time for me to go grey, then I was going to roll with it. Detailed results viewable to: All. Belongs on people over 60. 13 silk tongues Convince me. Aug 17th, 2011 12:21 am (UTC). I've been seriously grey for years. It's look...

http://mahogany.livejournal.com/231884.html
Aug 4th, 2011 at 3:45 PM. This is the year I've decided to start fermenting stuff. To get my feet wet, I've started with Water Kefir, Milk Kefir, and Filmjolk. They are all sitting on my counter fermenting away as we speak. If things go my way, the entire family will be bursting with probiotics! Speaking of the entire family. Remember when I calculated the shocking amount of oranges we went through? 5 silk tongues Convince me. Aug 5th, 2011 12:09 am (UTC). Have you considered DIY cheese? And despite the ...

I was asked about the churches views on annulment recently and I am - Livejournal Catholics. Mar 11th, 2010 11:53 am. I was asked about the churches views on annulment recently and I am kind of unsure. When a person is ending their marriage can they get an annulment at that time or do they only get it when they are wanting to marry someone else? Do both people in the marriage need to agree to the annulment process, what if one person isn't Catholic and does not wish to participate? It does make it more d...

something we made....: kid_crafts
http://kid-crafts.livejournal.com/663.html
This was last february, but hey, I've got pictures so I may as well post them, right? I wanted to help my older kids (3 and 4. well, 2 and 3 at the time) make something to send their grandparents for valentine's day, so we put together these. I have a heart cake mold, so I figured they could decorate some little heart cakes and send them. of course, I didn't think regular icing would hold up, so my solution? Dipped pretzel sticks into melted candy, then into sprinkles, then set them out to cool.

A *baking* craft...: kid_crafts
http://kid-crafts.livejournal.com/1745.html
Take that and be merry. (. Take that and be merry. I hope this is okay since it's baking vs. arts and crafts.but we just made these over the weekend and they were a HUGE hit. Whether your kids are old enough to help with the dough-making, or just able to plop some m&m's on top at the end, it's a pretty simple project with a great 'wow factor' at the end. I saw this on a baking community I'm on, so I'm just going to re-post the directions here:. 2 cups all purpose flour (i added another 1/2 a cup). The ke...
