Thoughts of an Aspiring Hornist: Migraines and PCC
http://seattlehornist.blogspot.com/2008/04/migraines-and-pcc.html
Thoughts of an Aspiring Hornist. The intent of this blog is to open a window into the mind of a student horn player regarding matters of life in the American culture. Today was quite an interesting day. It started with Kirstin's migraine, the first since the Reconciled concert (March 30) which was a really good run. Now I'm just unwinding from the day and am going to head off to bed. Yet another adventure filled day awaits, just lingering in the distance. No wonder you two are suffering from migraines!
Thoughts of an Aspiring Hornist: Quick Correction
http://seattlehornist.blogspot.com/2008/05/quick-correction.html
Thoughts of an Aspiring Hornist. The intent of this blog is to open a window into the mind of a student horn player regarding matters of life in the American culture. It was brought to my attention that the concert (Reconciled: Revisited) on Sunday, May 18th is at 7pm, not 7:30pm. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I study the art of french horn playing. It is truly a life-long devotion and I apply myself heartily to it. View my complete profile. Frustrations and Musical Matrices.
Thoughts of an Aspiring Hornist: In the Eye of the Storm
http://seattlehornist.blogspot.com/2008/04/in-eye-of-storm.html
Thoughts of an Aspiring Hornist. The intent of this blog is to open a window into the mind of a student horn player regarding matters of life in the American culture. In the Eye of the Storm. Due to recent demand, I have emerged from the hurricane of events in which I live from day to day in order to impart further insight and observations to the masses. Starting tomorrow night, I will begin rehearsal for Bizet's Carmen. A conspiracy, huh? I love you Mom. April 19, 2008 at 9:39 PM. In the Eye of the Storm.
Thoughts of an Aspiring Hornist: Carmen and Debussy
http://seattlehornist.blogspot.com/2008/04/carmen-and-debussy.html
Thoughts of an Aspiring Hornist. The intent of this blog is to open a window into the mind of a student horn player regarding matters of life in the American culture. Carmen is great fun. I am having a ton of fun playing 4th horn! The orchestra is great (although small). After 2 rehearsals, we already sound pretty darn good. Tomorrow the singers are added, although I will miss for work. Too bad. But seeing how I'll be there Wednesday and Thursday too, I don't think I will die. April 22, 2008 at 12:33 PM.

Thoughts of an Aspiring Hornist. The intent of this blog is to open a window into the mind of a student horn player regarding matters of life in the American culture. Frustrations and Musical Matrices. We rocked it. And I got an A on that Debussy Prelude we turned in (the Cathedral one). Sweet. I think I smell a rant. Here's the upcoming things I'm playing:. May 15 – 1:00pm: Duet with Kirstin (Practicum), Bach Theatre. May 16 – 7:30pm: Wind Symphony, First Free Methodist Church. Oh and check out Battles.

Harris Hooligans: January 2009
http://randsharris.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 10, 2009. Watch out, Michael Jordan. We signed up Cade for basketball through the Cheney Parks and Recreation Department. He had his first practice on Thursday and his first game today. He was so excited! Cade is in action, trying to get open to catch the ball. Cade is doing a great job dribbling, even while walking! Of course, he also wants to play soccer and T-ball and maybe even karate. I believe today starts the rest of our life attending sporting events! Saturday, January 3, 2009.
Harris Hooligans: July 2009
http://randsharris.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 30, 2009. We celebrated Ragan's 4th birthday! She is a big fan of Hello Kitty these days and loved her cake! For her birthday, we held a "backyard pool party". We put out the slip-n-slide, the kiddie pools, and a new pool in the picture that has a big slide attached to it. There were plent of water balloons and squirt guns, too. The kids had a blast! And here is our Princess Ragan at her birthday party! Oh, what a busy summer! Sunday, July 19, 2009. Of course, he didn't want us to touch it...
Harris Hooligans: October 2009

Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Views from the Train Ride. The sun wasn't shining but at least the fog lifted so we had some pretty views on the train ride. This is the town of Metalline, across the Pend Oreille River, almost to the point where we came back to Ione. This is some property that was owned by the Perkins family (now owned by someone else) but they buried prominent members of their family amongst the grove of trees on the right. I liked the tree colors you could see in this picture. This is a pi...
Harris Hooligans: May 2009

Sunday, May 31, 2009. At Cade's t-ball game yesterday, he got to be the catcher for the first time. Can you tell that's him inside all that gear? He ended up walking like a robot! Ragan is his number one fan, although she usually would rather be playing on the playground equipment by the baseball fields. We drove past the falls to the Meadowcreek campground. Here we ran into one of my high school classmates. I promised I would put his mug on my blog! Not worth eating, but still fun to reel in a fish!
Harris Hooligans: September 2009
http://randsharris.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 20, 2009. Everyone always says that Ragan looks just like me.you be the judge! Ragan is 4 years old on her first day of preschool. This is my school picture from first grade so I was six years old. Any resemblance? Cade is playing in his first outdoor soccer league this fall through the Cheney Parks and Recreation department. He had his first game on Saturday. It looks like we have a soccer player on our hands! He is actually quite good! Here he is as goalie, kicking the ball out. We ha...
Harris Hooligans: April 2009
http://randsharris.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2009. We're being adventurous this year and starting our garden indoors. This is our first attempt so we'll post updates as it progresses to see if we're successful! Richard is currently working on the raised beds in our new and improved garden area. Ragan started dance class last week - she was feeling left out with Cade involved in basketball, soccer, and T-ball. We even found her a dance outfit complete with tights and ballet slippers! Sunday, April 19, 2009. Monday, April 13, 2009.
Harris Hooligans: Train Ride
http://randsharris.blogspot.com/2009/10/train-ride.html
Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Last weekend we went up to Ione with Bill, Sharon, Loran, Justin, Shannon, Maia, Betsy, Kennet and Elsa to ride the scenic train to Metalline Falls. It was a little chilly out so we rode in the enclosed car, but it was still very pretty. This is the train as it pulled up to the station before we boarded. This is the caboose, which you can see the three open cars in yellow. They kinda looked like they should haul cattle! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
Harris Hooligans: Trick or Treat
http://randsharris.blogspot.com/2009/11/trick-or-treat.html
Saturday, November 7, 2009. My little bumblebees started off the night snooping our own candy bowls. But they still got lots of candy! Cade is the Bumblebee Transformer and Ragan is the cute bumble bee. :o). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Richard, Suann, Cade and Ragan.
Harris Hooligans: Ragan's Preschool Program
http://randsharris.blogspot.com/2009/10/ragans-preschool-program.html
Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Ragan's preschool class had a fall program this afternoon. They basically recited a few poems and then we ate muffins that they made in school today. They were actually pretty tasty - just a box of spice cake and a big can of pumpkin then they sprinkled powder sugar on top. You can barely see Ragan in this picture holding up her artwork of pumpkins on a fence. They carved pumpkins today, too - Ragan said this was her pumpkin with the clown carving. Fun times. :).
Harris Hooligans: March 2009
http://randsharris.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Tent for Sale - we finally bought a tent trailer! It's a 2005 Flagstaff, barely used. The box is 12 feet but opens to 23.5 feet. As you can see, it takes up our whole garage! It has a king bed and a queen bed (they even plug in for heat)! The dinette folds into another bed and the couch folds into another bed so there is lots of room! The dinette is even a slide out to create more room. The best part is the toilet! The kitchen area has a sink, three burner stove, and refrigerator.

Thursday, September 11, 2008. These were originally intended to be 2 separate posts, but because my friend Ann. Kills (and inspires) me when it comes to timely blogging, she did it first. Posted by Tim Tremendous. Monday, September 8, 2008. I could write pages about this, but this isn't really the right venue for it. I love Divya and Gautam and they moved to D.C. this weekend (the mass exodus continues). They had a going away party at a cafe on Capitol Hill called Faire. Posted by Tim Tremendous. A blog ...
