First off, I find it kind of funny that the only thing I seem to post about regularly is the one thing that nobody other than me possibly gives 2 shits about, that being my fantasy football teams. I've been working out and getting back in shape since early july. so far i've dropped from 180ish to 168 or so, and i'd like to lose 3-8 more in the next month before my wedding, which would put me around 160-165. today i did 5 miles on the elliptical in 41-42 mins, including 3 miles in under 24. The phils need to win at least 3 of 4 from the brewers, or it's time to start playing the backups. Both of my fantasy teams won last week. i'm really glad i draft...

Carnival 2007: 2nd place Booth, Chairman's Choice Buggy! Rather than just posting this in my personal blog, I figured I'd update here. It was definitely an AEPi kind of booth, the kind that people really enjoyed and kids came back to repeatedly. Even President Cohen loved it, spending 10 minutes playing the game! In Mongtgomery County, we have some pretty crazy grading policies which take a lot of grading control out of the hands of the teachers. First, there's a rule that homework in science can only be graded for effort (completion), not for correctness. Basically, if you write anything down, no matter how nonsensical, you get 100% credit for homework. A student could get a 69% (D) on the first lab report, a 69% (D) on the first quiz, and a 63%...

So, for any other alumni who still check this thing. I saw the new house this past weekend. i was in the 'burgh for my cousin's wedding, and i had some free time on sunday so i swung by for an hour. a few of the new guys (who seemed super-cool) showed me around. The whole house is now networked for wireless now, there's routers on every floor (and even the basement). the exterior was basically the same, they fixed some of the problems with the tile work and wall sort of falling apart, so that's good.
