Friday, 29 June 2012. Saying goodbye to Sapporo. Four weeks flew by so much faster than I anticipated! I have also met some incredible people here in Sapporo. Nagomi, you are my hero! Without you I would be hopelessly lost. Sachi, you are magical in the lab and so much fun to talk to! Your English is good, don't let it stop you from coming to visit me in North America! My bosses have been extremely supportive of my weekend travel plans and kindly let me schedule my work around it. Sachi, hard at work.

Tuesday, 3 July 2012. I reserved my last weekend in Japan for Tokyo. Although 2.5 days definitely wasn't enough to see this massive collection of 23 cities. I tried my best to hit up the major spots. Sunday, 23 February 2014. The day after Valentine's Day and the Chinese Yuanxiao Day, Chris and I embarked on our 7-week selective in Beijing, China in psychiatry at the Tsinghua University Yuquan Hospital (清华大学玉泉医院). Even though it is formally affiliated with the highly prestigious school in China, the hospital in fact is very small and underfunded (more to follow in the next post). I got a SIM card at the airport but Chris was trying to set up the cellphone that his mom got him in China and failing.
