Hopes and Dreams: January 2011
http://beingandyswife.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 20, 2011. We interrupt this excessively long bloggy break to do a little bragging. My dad has written a book! It sounds fantastic and I'm really excited to read it! I've already pre-ordered a copy from Amazon. I can tell you that my dad absolutely practices what he preaches on this topic. My entire life my dad has affirmed me. His affirming words have been a blessing to me and are a large component of our relationship. I am so thankful for my dad and for his affirmation! In my former li...

Somedays Are Worth Remembering: December 2008
http://somedaysremembered.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Somedays Are Worth Remembering. Taking one day at a time on this journey called life. December 29, 2008. Just 48 Hours Ago. The next day my back yard was buzzing with a military of electric company men, tree cutters, and cable guys. It was a sight to see. I came home to check the status and begin my preparations for the 12 people that were to come to stay with us that night. I asked a worker if the power would be on that day and he said he hoped so. What! Somedays are Worth Remembering. December 18, 2008.

Somedays Are Worth Remembering. Taking one day at a time on this journey called life. March 27, 2008. I plan on painting the walls tan with white trim. I figured that could work for either sex and can be adapted as our little one grows. I had a friend that was making a trip to Houston this weekend for a family function that offered to pick me up anything that I wanted from IKEA. If you have never checked out their site you should. www.ikea.com. Somedays are Worth Remembering. March 25, 2008. I visited wi...

Hopes and Dreams: July 2010
http://beingandyswife.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 15, 2010. Happy Birthday, Baby Boy. It's Taylor's 2nd birthday today! I just can hardly believe that two years ago today at 12:42 pm I gave birth to the most wonderful little guy I've ever known. He truly lights up our lives and we are blessed beyond measure to have Taylor in our family. He is a finicky eater - eating one thing one day but not the next. He still usually eats whatever fruit is on his plate first and then moves on to the rest. The first bite is the hardest! He still takes a ...

Glory of the Cross: January 2005
http://gloryofthecross.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
Glory of the Cross. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him.". Sunday, January 30, 2005. Welcome to my blog! Actually God has always been there with me, but it was me who chose to "leave" Him (as if that's really possible) and do things my own way. For three whole years of my life, I lived in a worldly manner and did according to what was right in my own eyes. Posted by dust and ashes Permalink.

Glory of the Cross: April 2005
http://gloryofthecross.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Glory of the Cross. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him.". Sunday, April 24, 2005. Living a life that's worth living. For many years now, I have been contemplating what it means to live a life that is worth living. Being "young", I've always wanted to find out the "right" way to live as early as I can, so that I won't waste my life and regret it all at the end of my time here on earth. I know that it is very di...

Hopes and Dreams: Recent Taylorisms
http://beingandyswife.blogspot.com/2011/08/recent-taylorisms.html
Thursday, August 25, 2011. I just looked back at my most "recent" posts. Wow! Feels like ages ago! My baby boy is now THREE and is a totally different kid! He's talking so much. His vocabularly has grown by leaps and bounds and he gets easier to understand month by month. Wish you could hear him. He has a deep, raspy voice and a little bit of a lisp. CUTEST doggone thing you've ever heard. He says some pretty adorable things. So sweet of him! Right afterward Taylor shouts, ". We have Lily's open house to...

Somedays Are Worth Remembering: Our Process Up To Now
http://somedaysremembered.blogspot.com/2012/02/our-process-up-to-now.html
Somedays Are Worth Remembering. Taking one day at a time on this journey called life. February 23, 2012. Our Process Up To Now. However, it is no easy thing to start this ordeal, and once you finish one step there are five more to go. Where will the baby come from? What will we have to do to finally bring this one home? Will my baby be safe? Every mother prays similar prayers, mine are not that different. Don't get me wrong, Shiloh is my child through and through. I am not trying to minimize who she ...
