http://aidenandeve.blogspot.com/2011/08/1st-day-of-school.html
Tuesday, August 23, 2011. 1st Day of "School". Yesterday was our fist day of homeschooling. I think it went pretty well. We started by referring to the schedule that we made last week so that Aiden would know what staying at home would be like. He named it "Our Day of Home". Aiden, Evie, and I made drawings to remind us what each activity meant. After having breakfast and getting dressed, we lit our special circle time candle. This is Aiden's favorite part. After snack, Aiden washed all the dishes from o...

Aiden & Eve: Natural Parenting and Epilepsy
http://aidenandeve.blogspot.com/2011/01/natural-parenting-and-epilepsy.html
Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Natural Parenting and Epilepsy. My first step was to prepare for a natural delivery, which would be difficult, as I had had a previous c-section. This was a huge hurdle for me; my husband didn't approve, my parents didn't approve, my provider didn't approve, but I did the best I could (see Evelyn's birth. We were both sleeping through the night as soon as we came home from the hospital. She nursed and I dozed. Things were working out quite nicely. Breastfeeding has also been ...

Saturday, November 13, 2010. When My Heart is Breaking, Heaven Stands. On the Saturday before Halloween, Evie had a small seizure while we were visiting Dave's mom in North Carolina. Aiden & Eve: Evie's 1st Birthday
http://aidenandeve.blogspot.com/2011/08/evies-1st-birthday.html
Tuesday, August 9, 2011. It's been way too long. This summer has been full of celebrating bellies, the births of new babies, learning new things, and exploring the people and wonders of our little corner of the world. Most importantly, though, we have rejoiced that our little Evie, who has given us so much happiness and worry, has made it through her first year. She'll always be my baby. Thanks Jenn Anderson for all the lovely pictures. You've helped us to remember this day in a very special way. About a...

Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Wordless Wednesday: Signs Of Spring. Fresh veggies for munching. In Aiden's wildflower garden, the very first bloom. A bright yellow cupcake and its gooey deliciousness. That look of knowing your mom caught you eating candy out of not-yet-hidden eggs. A baby girl's first. The thrill of the hunt. The surprises to be found. Special cards for special people. And of course special treats. And honoring those we love. But, most importantly, the promise of new life. This kind of joy.

http://aidenandeve.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Over the past few weeks, I have been talking with my friend Jenny. About her homeschooling choices. In preparation for homeschooling in the fall, she has created five goals for her family and will be focusing on one of these goals a week for the next five weeks. To guide her in her choices. Over the next week, I plan to thoughtfully and prayerfully consider ways to improve our family life and I plan to post here next week so hopefully my family can begin our own metamorphosis.
