Sunday, December 7, 2008. Getting Ready for Christmas. Yesterday Mark and I went shopping for Christmas. We had so much fun buying everything we wanted. This year we blew the budget out of the water and just bought everything we saw that we wanted, no holds barred. We'll certainly be paying for it in a month, but we've never done anything so spontaneous and crazy. It was WONDERFUL! I am looking forward to a stress-free, enjoyable holiday. Yea for me! Downside: it is clearly out of the budget! We have a $500 budget, and the dress we like is $750. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. After our trip to Disneyland and looking at the photos, I have been forced to confront something about myself I've been trying to avoid. These posts would've been me talking at the height of learning to deal with Clinical Depression, and I hope not to go back there again. I have deleted some of the more serious offenses. Monday, June 22, 2009. This is how I'm feeling after all these weeks of ENDLESS rain, rain, rain. I thought we lived in a desert. Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Ye'll ken you're a man when you're wearing a kilt. This weekend was the Utah Scottish Festival. We went Friday night to the Military Tattoo and Concert. These pictures give a brief idea of how large the massed bands were. There were over 120 Pipe bands. It was amazing! Shortly thereafter, the rain came down, and the floods came up! See his kilt twirling?

Sunday, August 9, 2009. Cooler weather, cooler tempers. I have managed to put in a few naps that have been over 2 hours long. I feel like a new woman. Now, if we can just convince mother nature to not go back to the heat. Im so glad you were able to sleep! During the cool weather I was able to get some naps in, too. Wednesday, September 2, 2009. 1 lb ground beef (I leave this out sometimes. I don't love to eat a lot of meat.). 1 med onion sauteed. 1/2 tsp Adobo seasoning (you can use garlic salt instead). 1 10 oz can red enchilada sauce. 1 can Rotel tomatoes and green chiles, undrained. 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, a mexican blend, whatever you have on hand.).
