Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Mark and I will leave on June 7th for Ethiopia. Right now, we are packing and praying for our trip. I've never packed to stay in another country for around three months, so my days have been spent packing, unpacking, and repacking for two days! Also pray for Mark and I as we meet Zane for the first time. Pray that he will be comfortable with us and quickly know us as his parents. Pray for our time together to be a time of bonding. We started the day by signing onto the Arnold's blog to see their Gotcha Day photos. Imagine getting a new daughter on Mother's Day- amazing! We had a great day with Melissa and ate at our favorite restaurant. It was neat to have the first Mother's Day with Sarah Beth. We hope that each of you have an awesome Mother's Day! Tuesday, August 4, 2009. With five kids we are beginning to realize that not only is our life not our own, neither is our time! We will be posting thoughts and pictures from Ethiopia, we promise. Here are a few photos that our friends, the Semlows (recent parents to a set of three siblings from Ethiopia themselves! Took at our neighborhood park when we got home. Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Melissa and the kids came by the office today as people have been clamoring to meet Gabriel. Afterwards, they went to State Farm Park to hang out at the pool with some friends. It was Gabriel's first experience at the pool and he was very excited and very loud. We have found that God has already blessed him with a voice that carries long distances. He played so hard today he crashed on the way home. Gabriel and Sarah Beth are getting along well. I can see Melissas face now!
