Brain Musings: April 2010
http://alanatchison.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 5, 2010. Counter-Protesting the Westboro Baptist Church at Temple University. Throughout the years, Saturday Night Live. Has done a hilarious job of satirizing politicians and major celebrities who get publicly upset or experience brief public mishaps. Usually the SNL sketch involves the character excessively flipping out at a press conference or in some other extremely over-the-top way in order to lampoon that celebrity's brief real-life situation. And The Laramie Project. April Fool's Day...

Brain Musings: August 2010
http://alanatchison.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Well, sadly, I guess "specimen" is a more appropriate description for A-Rod than "man" since he admitted in 2009 to using steroids - and who knows what other kinds of performance-enhancing drugs - earlier in his career. What I feel, when I think about A-Rod, as well as all the other guys who have climbed up the career home run charts, due in large part to PEDs, is absolutely cheated! Congratulations on your 600th home run, Alex Rodriguez! Links to this post. Women In War Zones.

Brain Musings: June 2010
http://alanatchison.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 28, 2010. This blog entry marks the third in a series called "Quirks." I've often thought about how I have some strange and unique personality traits that I spent a lot of time and energy trying to hide while growing up. Now that I'm older, I'm realizing my quirks are just part of what make me, me. And who knows? Maybe others can relate to some of these. So, rather than hiding my quirks, as I've done in the past, I figured I'd go the complete opposite route and just bring them to light.

Brain Musings: An Excellent Wife Who Can Find?
http://alanatchison.blogspot.com/2010/09/excellent-wife-who-can-find.html
Thursday, September 9, 2010. An Excellent Wife Who Can Find? I am absolutely in love with my wife Tara. We've been married for more than four years and she still causes me to continuously fall for her. How is this possible? Don't all good things come to an end, or so they say? Isn't Al Bundy the poster child for every man exiting bachelorhood? Isn't marriage equated to "biting the dust"? Doesn't tying the knot demand that all the fun you'd been having come to an abrupt and screeching halt? She considers ...

Brain Musings: March 2010
http://alanatchison.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Random Acts of Kindness. And saw that a guy had pulled the door open for me at the last aforementioned nanosecond. I hopped on the train and thanked the guy for doing that. He was probably about my age, with a blue hooded sweatshirt and a Domino's Pizza hat, and was holding a cup of coffee. He gave me a friendly nod in response. Before another second had passed, I heard. The man needed to get on the train.". I interrupted and said. Hey, I wasn't trying to start any trouble.".

Brain Musings: No Stranger to Philly Attitude!
http://alanatchison.blogspot.com/2011/02/no-stranger-to-philly-attitude.html
Tuesday, February 1, 2011. No Stranger to Philly Attitude! I caught the train after work this evening like I do every day. Upon arriving at my train stop, which is about a mile from my house, I noticed the bus that I usually take home pulling away from the stop just as I was descending the train station stairs to the street. Missed it by a hair! After walking for only a few minutes, I turned and saw the next bus about a block behind me. Much earlier than I expected! Want to get on the bus. I could ba...

Brain Musings: The Million Dollar Question
http://alanatchison.blogspot.com/2011/01/million-dollar-question.html
Friday, January 14, 2011. The Million Dollar Question. A common question people are asking me more and more these days is this:. Now that Steven Tyler is a judge on the show? So, getting back to the original question: Do I like the TV show. Now that Steven Tyler is one of the new judges? I know this comes as a shock to most people who think I blindly love anything and everything to do with Aerosmith, but them's the facts. I think. Ok, just had to get that off my chest. So there it is. While I hold Ty...

Brain Musings: November 2010
http://alanatchison.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Vote Just to Vote! I don't care who you vote for.just vote! If you don't vote, you don't care for this country! Failure to vote equals the end of democracy! Those who don't vote obviously don't know or care about the ISSUES! These are just a few of the things I've heard over the past few days as the 2010 mid-term elections have drawn near. On websites. On blogs. On Facebook posts. On the way to work. So, today.November 2nd.Election Day.guess who I voted for? Do I hate America?
