Saturday, September 13, 2014. Last days of Summer. Tuesday, September 9, 2014. This girl LOVES bath time. It has kind of become our fall back plan if she is gets super fussy and we can't figure out what is bothering her. She loves splashing and if you take her out before her little hands and feet look like prunes, she will let you know it is too soon. I think I hear I hear "Hey mom, take a picture! At least once a day. Here are the result of one of those times. Oh Joy :). Gotta do whatcha gotta do. View ...

an idea to try: make the psalms your own |

An idea to try: make the psalms your own. March 23, 2009 in scripture. I’ve heard various ways of relating to the Scripture and how to make it cling to our hearts and in our lives, from singing verses over ourselves to replacing the “you’s” with “me’s” and inserting your own name into the promises. both of those examples are great ideas, but didn’t really seem to work for me–they didn’t seem to strike a nerve in my faith. Lord, why are you so far away? Why do you hide when there is trouble? Lord, rise up...

April 1, 2009 in uncategorized. 8221; but they’ve held strong and i think that’s what matters most. These disciplines have become the new tethers in more beautiful and fulfilling ways than i’d ever imagined. i’ve seen Him prove that to me: prevailing and sustaining and providing in the midst of my homesickness and stress and worry and disappointment and loneliness. and here i am. still standing, still staking the tethers, one day at a time. Change your bookmarks: this blog has moved! Oh, a hiatus. Ben Ea...

God’s provisions: give us this day, our daily … relationships |

God’s provisions: give us this day, our daily … relationships. March 20, 2009 in community. Marriage and you don’t know love until you’re married. but they didn’t. they looked me square in the eyes and said, “yes, that has to be hard. i understand. i remember. that’s hard.” to feel understood and to realize, “you mean, i’m not crazy for feeling this way? I’m not acting like a cheesy middle school girl? It’s ok to feel this way and still be a grown-up? 8221; it was so touching. Awaiting a season of harvest.

The Shaw Family: February 2013
http://shawfamilyblogofdoom.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 28, 2013. Here are some random pictures I took this past month:. Morgan is obsessed with the umbrella. She always says "oh no! It's raining. Quick get under the umbrella with me". She played with it a little too much though. This umbrella bit the dust this morning. I really wish this image was clearer. I really like this moment. I don't get to relax and snuggle with her often anymore. Lunch with the Queen". Just a little painting. There is Ruca again. She has to see what is going on.

Monday, August 18, 2014. 13 puppies Part 2. Week two was stressful because I was desperately trying to figure out what the best thing to do for these puppies was. My Aunt heard about the situation and she is a HUGE animal lover. She knew that I couldn't afford it myself, but she was willing to take care of food costs and veterinary bills for ALL of the puppies if needed. So awesome! As of yesterday, I was able to find homes for 7 puppies! I have kind of followed up with everyone that came and got a pup a...
