Don’t do all your laundry in one day; space it out. Systems that would otherwise function normally can be temporarily overloaded when large amounts of water are introduced at once. Avoid dumping cleaners and bleach down drains. These can actually hinder the bacterial decomposition inside the tank. Water treatment systems cannot be discharged into septic tanks. They require a separate leaching system. Educate your family as to proper use of the system. (i.e. conserve water). Know where your tank is located.
