October 25, 2014. I am, as always, a bit behind in writing blog posts, so I'm going to overload on the pictures today. Drew's birthday was on on October 6th. He turned 5 years old. We celebrated in usual fashion before the kids went off to school. Then I took him to the park to play, but first I insisted on getting some photos of my suddenly so grown-up boy. These pictures show the different facets of his personality perfectly. He loved his presents! Thanks to everyone for thinking of Drew on his birthday.

December 27, 2012. With our two rowdy boys, you would never think that the only one to break any bones in our family is Emma! She was seen immediately, and after an Xray, it was determined that she had a severe break in her humerus, or upper arm bone. They put a splint on her arm, gave her a sling, and sent us home with instructions to call the orthopedic surgeon on Monday (since it was Saturday! After ten days, she was ready for a normal cast. April 29, 2013. So, one other fun thing we got to do in April was go to a Diamondbacks game. Emma's school won a grant of some kind, so as part of it, they got free tickets to the game for whoever wanted them. We took our whole family and met up with a bunch of friends from school to attend the game. Our kids were thrilled to be a part of it (maybe a little too excited for the Dback girls to handle! Drew, of course, wouldn't have anything to do with it, so we enlisted Kyle's friend Tommy to take his place.

My Time Has Come. Wednesday, September 23, 2009. She is finally here! Thank you to my super high blood pressure I seem to only have the last 4 weeks of my pregnancy she came at 38 weeks too. She was born on 09/18/09 and 12:10pm. She weighed 6lbs and 15oz and was 19.5in long. She looks just like her daddy! This was truly an amazing delivery. Very painful, but lots of great rewards. We started off with Quinn learning to ride her bike without training wheels. I've put off teaching all of our kids to ride a bike - I like to use the excuse that we live on a huge hill. So, yes, we take them to the cemetery to learn to ride - it's a nice flat half mile loop and very peaceful. Nothing cuter than a 3 year old on skis! It was a fun Spring Break!
