As seen on oprah! Entries by tag: lists. These are the things i have done recently. December 7th, 2010. I rode around the city on a trolley, while drinking champagne and wine and other things. and eating almonds. I danced with a boy to the song "i wish (i was a little bit taller)". I remembered all the words, even though the song came out when i was a junior in high school. a scrillion years ago. I ate a big mac! I think it might have made me gain 4 pounds overnight, but i wouldn't swear to it. I got int...

Incorporating Shakespeare Lessons: Preparing for Fall. First of all, we’re lucky to have the SF Shakespeare production of “Romeo and Juliet” playing in our own Sequoia High School grounds this weekend and the following two weekends. (Saturdays at 7:30, Sundays at 4:00) Directed by Rebecca J. Ennals, this is a production not to be missed! I’ll be seeing it next Saturday (8/15) at 7:30 pm and will write a report the next morning on this very blog…. Shakespeare in the Park 2015. Sequoia High School Campus’.

Fresh Peach Pie and Shakespeare. With “Romeo and Juliet” (directed by Rebecca J. Ennals) coming to the grounds of Sequoia High School this weekend, what better reason to make an Elizabethan peach pie to eat while watching the show? Below is a kid-friendly recipe, and relevant information about the performances. 1 nine- inch pie crust, unbaked, or one package mini-shells. 1 to 1 1/2 cups sugar. 3 1/2 fresh peaches (about 4-5 peaches). 1/2 cup Burrata cheese, cubed (optional). 2/3 cup packed brown sugar.

A Pedicure and Pedestrian Review of “Romeo and Juliet”. Two households, both alike in dignity, in fair Verona, . . . My feet were in hot water at the Retreat Salon in Redwood City. I was getting a pedicure, and the woman next to me, Ellen, was also getting a pedicure, as she rocked her three month-old in a stroller next to us. Her baby girl’s name was Verona, and yes, she was named after that play. Wasn’t Redwood City’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ in the park just great? Where did you first encounter Shakespeare?

Once again, we walked out of the town, stopping only occasionally - how nice of tho...
