March 29, 2010. Press pot of coffee. BP made up a breakfast of scrambled eggs/cheese/zucchini , potato, 3 pieces buttered toast. The 4 of us drove over to L’s work (she’s a vet) to say hello. BP then drove us to Riccarton House and Bush. A super nice spot in middle of the city. It’s a small preserved area what it was like before all the trees were cut down around Christchurch. They call speed bumps here ‘judder bars’. Drove by University of Canterbury. Stopped at library BP works at. March 29, 2010.

April 1, 2010. JW flies to SF. J’s already up, L’s at work. BP’s asleep on the couch. No sign of JW but he’s supposed to be on a plane by now. BP is up around 10am. Beans on toast for breakfast. Make a cup of coffee in the small plunger. See a blackish-grey cat that I don’t recognize as belonging to BP LS walk and stop to look at me from the hallway. Must have cone through the cat door.
