Oysters are a live animal and need to be treated accordingly. Proper storage is not difficult. Oysters should be stored in a cool, damp place (ideal temperature is 4°C). Use the seaweed provided as a moisture indicator. The seaweed should remain damp. If the seaweed dries out, sprinkle some water over it and the oysters. A damp cloth or paper towel can also be used in place of the seaweed.

Should I chew raw oysters or just slurp them back? You should chew an oyster so that you can experience the full flavour of the oyster. Slurping back the leftover juices is optional, but highly suggested. Are oysters only eaten raw? While it is the most recognized manner, there are numerous recipes and methods available for enjoying oysters. We recommend you experiment. Are oysters only edible in months containing the letter “r”? What nutritional value do oysters have? How long can you store oysters?

One of our favorite dishes is barbacoa or pit braised meat. Usually wrapped in agave or banana leaves and flavored with avocado leaves this succulent dish cooks in the ground for several hours is totally worth the effort. 3 lbs beef short ribs. 3 dried Ancho chilies. 3 dried Guajillo chilies. 1 dried Chipotle chili. 1 cup of warm water.
