Thursday, March 29, 2012. So it's been well over a week since my last run. I did a 2 mile run on March 20th. So what's my issue? Cold and Sinus issues. I have been sick with congestion, cough, pain in my face, headaches, etc. I've been able to do a few home workouts but with the pollen count in the medium high range, I didn't want to push a ran dealing with a cold and asthma. Sunday, May 1, 2011. Run and bikini updates. So I hit the tracks twice before the end of April. I'm still researching a training program, I want to take a different approach to training for the Steamboat Classic this year. And it sounds doable. My current running goal is 3 times weekly (when weather permits) and I want to add a 4th run by the end of the May. Increasing my miles on every other run seems reasonable, safe and should get me to running 4 miles by the end of the month. Like, how is this right?

Sunday, January 8, 2012. From The Mommy files. My daughters visited their grandparents this weekend and of course they made cookies and had to bring me some. My oldest daughter said it was magic cookies, and I didnt ask what she meant by that. Looks interesting doesnt it? I ran the Steamboat Classic Race and finished in 43 minutes, slower than my previous times but a finish none the less. I think I may go back to my roots and blog about various issues in my life and not just issues surrounding training for a race or weightloss, there are plenty of folks out there doing that already.
