Thursday, April 26, 2012. Quick tip: Don't be intimidated by the long line outside. If the hostess quotes 45 minutes this normally translates into a 15-25 wait time. Also, if this is your first visit, make sure to ask questions. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Lastly, while the inside is beautiful the outdoor patio is the place to be seated. Peru's superstaf chef who built a global empire around exquisite Peruvian that goes beyond lomo saltado. Don't get me wrong. I love me a juicy lomo saltado. But my dear friend and superstar chef himself, MO, first introduced me to this guy and his type of cuisine. My verdict for Acurio's SF location, La Mar Cebicheria.
