Rest and cool compress would be a start. I don't think heat pad is going to help either. Want to get the inflamation down not up. They should provide it for you. I would doubt it they should have a first aid kit. That is something you should ask where you work. Work places are supposed to have first aid kits. How can i get rid of. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. There is no way that i can stop the pain.unless i sit down.but i just have to let it go away on its own. and i have found myself subconsciously walking differently to try to make the pain stop but that never works. any help would be appreciated. Go and see a doctor. I had the same problem some years ago. that ended by a hip joint replacement-prosthesis. consult a good orthopaedic surgeon. Definitely is Sciatica.Look it up on the internet. Hip/Leg Pains at 21?
