The Temple is situated in the Bijapur District of Karnataka. It comes in the Muddebihal Taluka. One can reach the holy temple by bus from Bijapur, Bagalkot, Muddhebihaall. It would be very convenient for one to reach here from Nidgundi as there are many auto-rickshaws from there and buses pass through Nidgundi since it is situated on the National Highway[NH-13]. There are many direct buses available at the time of the Kartik Mahotsava.

This utsava is celebrated from Chaitra Month-Yugaadi Pratipada(Gudi Padva) to Poornima(ie Hanuman Jayanti) for 15 Days. Daily tirth Prasad is served to the devotees. On the Hanuman Jayanti day the birthday of Shri Hanuman celebrated by keeping the idol in the cradle during the morning at the sunrise time.

After that in the rule of maratha king Shri Baaji Rao 480 acres of land was given to the temple as jahagir and was distributed to the pujari and other servants to perform poojas and all other sevas everyday without fail.
