離上次來赤柯山已經是四年前，一直無法忘懷赤柯山上金針花的美麗，今年很忙碌也很少遠行，趁著這個機會，給自己一個放空的時間，因此決定在山上住一晚，享受"山氣日夕佳，飛鳥相與還"的感動，早晨六點多起身閒晃，露珠對我揮手，大口大口的吸入新鮮的空氣，絕對是都市人的奢侈品。 上次來的時候發現六十石山的花朵開得沒有赤柯山的漂亮。再加上遊客比較少，更顯清幽愜意，唯一美中不足的是這次赤柯山的花朵沒有上次印象中的大朵，詢問當地人之後是說已經進入花期尾聲，所以花況也沒有盛期那麼好，雖是如此說，不過花還是美的冒泡。 赤柯山上，總是充滿驚喜，普通早上都爬不起來得我，吸收芬多精，也變得精神抖擻。滿坑滿谷的紫斑蝶，目不暇給。 赤柯著名芭樂景點 「千噸石龜」旁邊陪伴他身旁的則是千年赤柯神木，這裡得四處都很好拍，怎麼拍都好看! 黃澄澄壯觀的金針花，每年的八月到九月底盛開，透過政府的留花政策推動，創造大面積的花海，讓一般民眾可欣賞遍地美景，其實就算沒有黃透，本身就很喜歡赤柯山上的氣氛。 每年皆有遊客無視禁入花田的告示牌，任意踩踏花田、折枝摘花，破壞美景，令在地農民感到相當無奈!
