tooelek spells athlete: Our last run together
http://reflectionsonarun.blogspot.com/2013/08/our-last-run-together.html
I've completed eight full 'thons and looking to do more. Oddly, I look almost the same as I did when I started. So, as I train and complete more 'thons, I'm trying to address some issues along the way. Ultimately, I will be a healthier, happier and thinner person. Monday, August 5, 2013. Our last run together. Our last run together. South Salt Lake was hot and there was construction and it was noisy - and it was awesome. The street, the dip, and the light. Stats: 3.1 miles in 37:33 for a 12:07mpm pace.

PartyRunner: April 2006
http://partyrunner.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
I'm in my early 30s, juggling the shoulds of life with what works for me. But I'd like to make a difference in this world and along the way, keep my darling true love running at my side. Oh, OK, biking, you and swimming too. Thursday, April 27, 2006. I just read Jeff’s Boston race report. Jeff was one of the first bloggers I ever read. He found me I think cause I was doing Vegas. He was there as support staff, the best EVER. He had like the best time and I loved reading the race report. He’s so exc...

Gotta Push For 9s.: Eugene pictures
http://gottapushfor9s.blogspot.com/2008/07/eugene-pictures.html
Saturday, July 26, 2008. Here are some long overdue pictures that were taken when me and the hubby were up in Oregon for the Eugene 1/2 Marathon back in May. We had a grand old time and leaving was definitely such sweet sorrow! It's time to pick up our packets! In front of the famous Hayward Field. We snickered at there t-shirt statements. Very clever! We walked over to the starting line from our hotel. It was only a 1/2 mile and super exciting to see the green balloons and all those people! 08/10 - ARR ...

Gotta Push For 9s.: Eugene
http://gottapushfor9s.blogspot.com/2008/05/eugene.html
Tuesday, May 6, 2008. I've been really busy lately! Lots of traveling for work had me in San Francisco and Denver recently. When I'm in the office, I've been pre-occupied with coordinating a training and getting ready to renew some grants that I hardly have a life. I ran Eugene. Not the full. I did the 1/2. I had the best time in Oregon as the hubby and I made a 5-day journey out of the whole thing. Hope to have a race report up within the week. Hey, hopefully I will finally meet you at the summer 5ks!

Gotta Push For 9s.: March 2008
http://gottapushfor9s.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 30, 2008. 12 under my belt. Total Mileage: 12 miles. I ran this morning's long run of 12 miles with little difficulty. And though some of it may be attributed to the fact that I woke up earlier and started at 7:00 am instead of 9:30 am, I definitely felt stronger and more positive. The Arizona Dragon Boat Festival. We were running in different directions so I'd meet her twice around the lake. Nice having someone else there. I don't know what else to do other than icing, massaging, and stren...

Gotta Push For 9s.: Peeking Out From Behind My Curtain
http://gottapushfor9s.blogspot.com/2008/06/peeking-out-from-behind-my-curtain.html
Sunday, June 29, 2008. Peeking Out From Behind My Curtain. Where has this girl gone for nearly two months? I turn 27 next January. My other selfish goal for picking up the pace is to burn more fat. I need to slim down in time for my first wedding anniversary at the end of August. How fast that time has come around! I just came back from work-related travel to Billings, MT last week and had a chance to go to Yellowstone National Park. Wyoming is soooo beautiful! I was wondering how you were doing! My anni...

Gotta Push For 9s.: April 2008
http://gottapushfor9s.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 3, 2008. Tonight: 6-8 miles or bust. I'm noticing that I am not as sore as I usually was after running. It was wonderful to walk up and down the stairs pain-free at work on Monday - the day after my long run. This never happened before. My legs are so bomb! I realized yesterday that me and the hubby's trip to the Oregon Coast and to Eugene for the 1/2 marathon is only a month away! I'm so freaking excited! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Black Toes: On the seventh day I rested...
http://bugdozer.blogspot.com/2005/03/on-seventh-day-i-rested.html
Trail running, running, and hiking in Colorado's Front Range. Monday, March 07, 2005. On the seventh day I rested. Today was a rest day (finally! In looking back at the past week, I think I went out to fast on Saturday's run and ended up paying for it yesterday. I did a little 5 mile recovery walk with the family today (actually, I walked while Brynne ran whilst I pushed the stroller). Plus, we got money back. From the IRS (not like past years.). And all is well with the world. I just need to get a c...

Black Toes: Slack ass..
http://bugdozer.blogspot.com/2005/03/slack-ass.html
Trail running, running, and hiking in Colorado's Front Range. Wednesday, March 16, 2005. With respect to running, that is. Today was crazy - I wrote a visualization program to do some analysis of my weather output, went to another on-site job interview (for a defense job in Boulder), and then followed that all up with a 2.5 hour meeting with my advisors at NCAR. Has been a real. Luckily I can work from home tomorrow, so I'll be able to head out for a run - maybe even a trail run. Awww the little booogers.
