We are women of all ages from the Shuswap area who join together to engage in activities for physical health and an appreciation of nature. Our members are from their early teens to their 80’s! We support and encourage a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere, and physical fitness at an individual pace. Our main focus is on being an outdoors group; however, we do support local initiatives:. Elementary School Pirate Loppet – January. Striders Memorial Walk – May. Salmon Arm Fall Fair Parade – September.

Our activities include walking, jogging, hiking, cycling, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Whenever possible we have two levels of difficulty in an activity. People who wish to go a shorter distance or at a slower pace may do so. We also have social events which include a monthly breakfast, two potluck dinners, a Christmas luncheon and a family picnic.
